"Thanks."

"What are you nerds jabbing about," Mik said her arms crossed.

She blushed a little and turned to Mik. Calling them "nerds" had hit a nerve, but she bit her tongue. 'Nothing, really. Just trying to make homeroom go faster.'

" Just leave us alone Mik," she told her, then turn right back at Jackson" Hey do you want to come over my house is a old music store and we have lots of cds," she told him.

" Hm let me look," she told him, opening her book " Yeah, that's fine with me or I can pick you up I'm useing my brother's jeep today," she told him.

'Pretty good, yeah,' she told her. 'Why? You need any help?' she asked her.

"Help yes, but not a tutor," she pulled out two twentys, "Im sure these Jeffersons would love it if you did my math home work for the week, and who knows maybe he'll become a triplette or a quadruplet."

"Nah its cool, tomorrow is fine."

'Uh...' she trailed off. She wasn't the type to do that. 'I'd love to help you, but I can't do it for you, Mik,' she told her hesitantly.

"Oh come on, its fourty bucks. Too cheap? How about sixty? Think of all the books and classical music you can buy!Plus..." she shrugged, "my art is being showcased this week and I dont think I'll be able to catch up with math..."

She sighed. 'This goes totally against my morals, Mik, but just this once. You can use it as a study sheet, I guess,' she said, trailing off. 'Once, though.'
