Mckenzie drove up to the familiar parking lot of Northbrook High. She got out of the car and stood by her car looking up at the large building that held so many fond memories. Before she could snap out of her daze a pair of hands made their way over her eyes.
"Gah!" She said slightly startled until she heard a familiar voice, but she couldn't quite place who it belonged to.
"Uh? I dunno." Mckenzie shrugged with a smirk, anwsering the voice.

"Ummm?" Mckenzie thought for a second, biting her bottom lip, then it clicked.
"Nathan!?" She said surpised and slightly shocked, not quite sure if she was allowed to call him Nate since the last time they saw each other ten years ago when she broke up with him the day before she left for New York City.

he lifted his hands from her eyes " correctomundo " he said laughing
" How have you been McKenzie " he said embracing his old girl friend

Mckenzie hugged Nate back entusiastically.
"Well a lots happened since...well, you know-" She frowned slightly, refurring to their break up ten years ago, talking about it was kinda awkward and uncomfortable, it kinda hurt her too. "I graduated from NYU, got an internship at ELLE magazine and now im their fashion editor." Mckenzie replied cheerfully, a wide smile spread across her face.
"So what have you been up to." She asked, the smile still remaining, just being around Nate made her smile.

" i have been great " he said letting go " i mean like i graduated from texas and my band and i have been getting along nicely we played at a few joints in texas and i may get a recording deal with American Recordings " he said smiling for after ten years it was good to see McKenzie again " thats really great iam happy for you "

"Thanks Nate." Mckenzie smiled "But wow! You're like a rockstar now." She mused "I guess a lot can happen in ten years."

Taylor sighed. "Well, we might as well get this over with." She opened the car door and approached the school.

Brittany hopped out of her red convertible and strutted down the sidewalk toward the school as if it were a red carpet. She was wearing a bright blue dress, tan sandals, and sunglasses. We meet again, Northbrook High, she thought to herself. Miss me much?
