Ok this is just another high school RPG but i am taking this idea from the book Graceling.

You are NOT an ordinary person. instead you have a gift for doing something WAY better than other people. There are some that are not as useful as others such as climbing trees and there are the usefull ones like being a genius and you are smarter than any other genuis ever, or being able to read minds.

first we need charactors and you need to give your charactor a grace...

Grace: Being able to read people's minds if what they are thinking is related to me in any way.
Looks: one green eye with a gold eye. 6ft2 in. blonde hair.

ok thats it for me. if someone has the grace you wanted don't copy it. its one of those things that it can only happen once to one person. twist it in some way. also you can have 2 charactors but if you have 2 the second one has to have a not so useful grace.

Looks: She have long black hair and have blue eyes
Grace: She can see things that not even there yet.

Age:16
Grade:10th
Looks: She have blonde hair down to her shoulder and have green eyes and she is abou 5'4"
Grace: She can freeze time!

My first RPG in forever...(a year?)
Question - are these powers "secret"? And do they attend a sort of school for people with these kinds of powers, or a normal high school?

Name: Aoife (pronounced EE-fa) Bergmann
Age: 16
Grade: Sophomore
Grace: The opposite of Mike's - she can see the past, which isn't always very useful
Looks: 5'4, thin but strong, long brownish-red hair, freckles, green eyes

Character #2
Name: Oliver Blackwood
Age: 16
Grade: Sophomore
Grace: When he's in a stressed situation he can produce water from his hands
Looks: 6'0, lean but muscly (not bulky though), brown hair, brown eyes

Oliver is Mike's younger brother. They have three other siblings, William (14), James (11), and Madison (9).

Grace: Can turn invisible at any given moment.
Looks: 5'9". Brunette with eyes that change color depending on what she's wearing. Side-bangs.
 
Ok i think we have enough charactors to start. we can always have more people that have a new charactor.

I will make a new charactor to make the number of charactors even.

Age: 17 (was held back in Kindergarten because he failed to spell things correctly or cut a line straight on a piece of paper so he is a year older than everyone in his classes)
Grace: Math (being able to know every aspect of his math class)
Looks: Brown curly hair. Has Hazle eyes and is only 5ft 6in.


Some powers are a secret while others are not. like mine. i would not want anyone to know that i can read their mind. and this is just a normal school.
also we are starting as everyone just moved into town and no one knows anyone other than if you are in a family. so no one knows any one elses grace.

Justin walks off of the bus and sees many people that he has never met before so he is realy nervous... he decides to just walk around and talk to randome people to know what they think of him. ((ooc no one knows his grace remember. so throughout this i am sorry but i will have to ask you to post your charactors thoughts about him.))


Nick puts his bike in the bike rack and heads for the door. As he is walking to the door he trips and falls...

Danielle (Dani) Brandon
Age: 16
Grace: Extreme and unusual intelligence and amazing memory. For instance, if you asked her to recite pi she could name it to the umpteenth decimal, or if you asked her to recite a Skakespearean play she probably could say the whole thing. She hides it by only doing average in class (which is still smart for everyone else, though).
Looks: Average height, brown, wavy hair and green eyes.

Aoife Bergmann followed a tall, blond boy into the building, grimacing at the smell of school. She couldn't believe she was back at school!

As she was going in the door, the boy in front of her fell.

People around him laughed and kept moving, but Aoife crouched beside him. "Are you alright?" She asked.



Oliver Blackwood did not want to go to school. He contemplated sitting on the bus for the whole day, refusing to move. But everyone was filing off, and he knew they'd just make him get off anyway.

He slung his bag over his shoulder and followed the mob descending the stairs of the bus. Turning to look at his twin sister, Mike, he said, "Can you believe we're back at school?"

(OOC: Mike and Oliver can know about each other's powers, though, 'cause they're twins, right? It's up to you, Hannah.)

"I just kind of want this to be a nightmare, and I'm hoping it'll be over soon," he replied. Then he saw her, Aoife Bergmann, from his biology class the year before. They hadn't spoken all summer, and maybe she'd forgotten about him.

Or maybe I kind of want this to be a dream that never, ever ends, he found himself thinking. Aoife Bergmann. Aoife Bergmann...
 
She sighed " Oh, lets get this over with," she told him, taking his hand then froze right in the middle of the hall.
 
Dani entered the too-familiar high school building. She hated returning to school every year, not only because of the regular high school setbacks but also because sometimes, once or twice during the year, she'd slip up and do something that would reveal a little bit of her 'abnormality' (as she called it). She had to remain on guard in every single little thing she did. She sighed, and searched for a familiar face.
 
Aoife waited for the boy to reply, but he didn't so she sighed. She wasn't going to waste her time on this! She had people to see.

"Speaking of..." she murmured. Standing, she had caught sight of the one person she wanted to see most, in the middle of the hall with his twin sister Mike.

Oliver Blackwood.

The one person who alone could make her flustered.

Mike jerked Oliver a little, and he glanced over. "What?" He looked quickly back at Aoife, who had fixed him with a puzzled, piercing stare.

Grace: Healing, only of cuts and stuff, not sickness. And she can't save people from death. People know because she's done it before, but she tries not to make a big deal 'bout it.
looks: short wavy black hair, with two bright orange streaks towards the front. Blue-grey eyes
