" All right love you!," she told him because he left
Oliver quickly shouted "Love ya too" over his shoulder before dashing around the corner, where he spotted Aoife. She was talking to who he now recognised to be Dani Brandon. Neither of the girls had seen him yet...perhaps he could just sneak off, it had been a stupid idea anyway...but instead, Aoife turned and saw him.

"Hey," he said, smiling as best he could.

Dani didn't have to be a genius to realized what Aoife did was stupid. She nudged Aoife gently, but still responded with a halfhearted "Hey."

"Um, oh, hi," Aoife said awkwardly, tucking a lock of hair behind her ear. She avoided Oliver's gaze, and she noticed he'd shoved his hands far down in his pockets, which was what he did when he was nervous. "Good summer?" She wanted to hide behind Dani. No, better yet, run away.

Dani sensed her nervousness mixed in with her embarrassment. She looked at her watch, and although it was about 30 minutes and 48 seconds until their next class she'd have to get Aofie away somehow. "Uh... would you look at that! It's time to get to our classes. Talk to you later, Oliver." She grabbed Aofie's arm and pulled her away.

Oliver stared with a mixture of relief and sadness as Dani tugged Aoife away.

Aoife breathed in Dani's ear as they hurried off, "Thank you, you incredible being, you."

Justin moved around the school untill he found ever class he needed to know of. He didn't want to be one of those kids that had to ask for directions on the first day. then he thought to himself that he still knew no one at this wreched school. he knew that the more people he know then the better his years at this high school will be. he saw many people but the only problem was that he didn't know how to start a coversation with a complete staranger. he just wished someone would talk to him first, because if he ruins the conversation then there goes one might-have-been-friend...

Nick just relized that he was hungry because he accidentaly forgot his breakfast this morning. he decided to go to the nearest resturant wich is a perkins. he eats some breakfast but when he goes outside he doesn't see his bike. 'Where is my bike?' he thought. he couldn't dwell here though. if he didn't start walking to school he would be late on the first day.

OOC: wow having 2 charactors takes me forever to get something typed...

Dani laughed. "I love ya, Aoife. And what are friends for?" She flashed a bright smile that immediately wore off once they entered homeroom. "We've got Mr. Davies," she whispered, afraid.

"Ah, cripes," Aoife muttered. Mr. Davies was an incredibly intimidating man, or so Aoife had heard from her elder brother Declan.

"Not only that, but he's onto me," she whispered back. "My secret."

Mr. Davies was watching them, Aoife noticed, so she murmured back, her lips barely moving, "You're blooming joking. Well, you're a genius, so just out-genius him, eh?"

Oliver hurried to his homeroom, which he had with Mike. He quickly sat down next to her.

Nick got to class just before the bell rang.

"DUOOOO!! DUOOOO!! DUOOOO!! DUOOOO!! DUOOOO!! DUOOOO!!"

He set his things down on his desk. all he had was a book "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" and an unsharpened pencil. Nick knew from experiance that homeroom was one of the worst classes. but scince he moved so much he had homeroom sometimes before or after real school started.

Justin sat impatiantly waiting for the class to end but it had just started. He sat between another boy and a girl. But then Mr. Davies anounced that he had a seating chart and everyone groaned...

"You know I can't do that... I'm too smart for my own good," she muttered. "Oh great... seating chart," she groaned. "I hope we don't get seperated."

Dani nervously waited for the seating arrangements and was relieved when she and Aoife remained together. "I almost thought we were goners," she breathed. Mr. Davies shot them a look. "Do I need to separate you?"
"No," she answered. "Sorry." Mr. Davies turned back around to begin class.
