Hobbits

Spare 'Omian,
I'm right with you. Almost all my friends who have seen LOTR are obsessed with Frodo. Sam is definatly my fave, although I got pretty attached to Merry and Pippin in the whole adventure with the Orcs.

Well... I love them both. But honestly I don't think Sam or Frodo could of done it alone. To say one is better than the other is quite hard. And the reason Frodo was not as consistant in his personality as Sam was, is because he was effected greatly by bearing the ring. Someone had to do it, but without Sam by his side he would of surely perished early on. I am honestly a major fan of both. And their friendship I believe is a very beautiful thing. :)

I'm almost to the end of Two Towers, but haven't finished:(
Their friendship definatly is beautiful, especially how Sam encourages Frodo.
(Tell the truth, I don't think Frodo's gonna make it to the cracks of Doom, in one piece that is. I only just got past Shelob's lair this morning. At least, I hope we're past it.:))

Ha Ha. Don't worry. :) I'll try and keep my mouth shut here. Have you seen the movies? I'm guessing probably not. They're AMAZING!!!!
 
I love Sam the most out of the two when it comes to loyalty but I hate what they've done to Frodo in ROTK. I won't ruin it for our newbie (btw...welcome) because it isn't much fun if you have not finished the books and then know how it ends. I love the books Frodo however as much as any other hobbit. Frodo was just an ordinairy hobbit. He didn't ask for this adventure and I must admit he carried the ring a long way and he has come further than many other person would have come. But my most fav hobbit will always be Pippin :D Fool of a Took, innocent and still sweet.

Awwww... that darling little fool of a Took. To tell you the truth I actually haven't finished reading ROTK yet either. Is Frodo's end much different from what it was in the movie? Ha Ha. I just have to know!
 
Don't worry April....that's why Sam is here :D If I would send Pip to Shelob he would show accidentally the Palantir and then Shelob would think there's a barbeque going on. So we will send sam. He is the spider killer :D

YAY!!!!! Go Sam!!!!!!!!!!! :D Show that Shelob who's boss now!!!!!! *Jumps up and Down*
 
Leave it to Sam...he rushes towards Shelob who steps back. Sam's sword is in the air. Sam holds it and quickly brings it down. But Shelob is quicker and tackles sam. Sam falls on the floor and turns around. Shelob jumps on him to stab him with her deadly sting. Then she feels a hand on her shoulder. She turns around and sees Frodo. Frodo whispers something in her ear. Shelob asks Frodo: Really?? Frodo nodds head. Shelob jumps into the air and quickly rushes outside. Frodo helps Sam to get on his feet again. Sam asks: What did you say Mister Frodo? Frodo replies: I told him Gollum said yes on her proposal.
