Well... the "Jubilee" event will be starting at 6:00 but since my grandma is going to be busy before that I may not get there till around 7:00. It's about a 2 and a half hour drive for us. I'm pretty excited though. :D It's SOOOOOOO soon. Just 4 more hours!!! :eek: *Looks around nervously and happily at the same time*
 
I would give the world to meet my best friend Laura who lives in Illinois. We met on a LOTR site and after 4 years we are still close friends. I hope one day we will finally meet!!! I'm so excited for you and Ferny :D Everytime I see your name on the list I wonder when you are going to see her but I know. By the time the two of you meet I'm sleeping. It's almost 12 am here :eek: But I expect a report! How it went and if you are going to be friends for life which shouldn't be hard for the two Frodo lovers ;)
 
Ooooohhhh.... what LOTR site is that? :D I should check it out. Do you still go there much?

When our meeting is over I will totally send you pictures, my friend. :) I'm pretty excited about this!!! Wish you could come too.

I believe we shall. :D You are so sweet as well, my little dose of sunshine. He He. I was getting pretty depressed lately because my best friend who I have been friends with since 3rd grade has been growing pretty distant from me. She lives in Redmond now and we used to call each other like everyday but lately she's been seeming to find new friends and were slowly growing apart. And one big factor is that she hasn't even watched Lord of the Rings. :eek: How horrible that would be!! I'm just so glad I met a new friend and I hope our friendship continues to grow from this day foreward. :)
 
well, you dont have to worry. im the kind of person that, when i make a friend, i kind of expect to always be friends and will do all i can to try and make that happen.
my friends have also been growing away from me. iv noticed they are telling me less and less and ignoring me alot more. i think it might be because im leaving.

Well I'm glad dearie. :D I'm so thankful to have met you and it was all because of the wonderful TDL! It's very sad when friends grow apart. :( If only they would stay with us forever. *Sigh* Usually my best friend calls everyday but sometimes she just like dissapears for a week or month. It's quite odd and then she just states that she was busy.
 
Ferny...you will see when you have left and come back after a while most of your so called friends are not even surprised you are back. I have noticed this way too often. But on a site like TDL you don't have to worry because you will always be feeling like you're coming home again and you will make new friends anyway :D I have been busy at my new home. In the smallest bedroom all action figures are now hanging on the wall and two LOTR posters are hanging there too. Now I'm busy with hanging up LOTR posters in my own future bedroom there. I begin to love my home now. I also have placed all plates and glasses etc in my small kitchen. The window decoration will come next week. I ordered blinds in the color blue. After this I will do the floor. And then I can move the rest of my stuff. I hope to be move in within 3 till 4 weeks :D

Sounds like fun, Dearie! :D You shall have to send us pictures when your the decorating of your new house is finally complete. It's sounds like the ideal house for me. :) Lord of the Rings everywhere! How wonderful that is!!
 
It is going to be a LOTR themed house :D Tomorrow I'm going to hang more posters on the wall. And the large Frodo posters are going to be in the living room. I think together with the Pippin and Merry poster. I will send you before and after pics. Yep Dearie! It might be an idea for you when the times has come for you to move out. Collect as many LOTR things as you can :D ;)

That is some wonderful advice, my dear friend. ;) I begun my collection last year and I hope it continues to grow enough to fill a house. He He. That would be AMAZING! So far I have the hobbit cardboard cutouts, a Legolas cardboard cutout, the signed Beecake cd from Mr.Billy Boyd(Not sure if that counts), a Return of the King movie companion guide, and a Lord of the Rings poster calandar. I know it's not much yet but I hope it will be. I just love collecting! :D

My Frodo and Sam action figures were the first LOTR merchandising I ever had and the giant Frodo poster was my first LOTR poster. I want to buy the hobbits cardboard. And a Hobbit goblin. The living room will be not that much LOTR but still some LOTR posters will make it feel the hobbits have taken over my home. And I will collect more Pippin/ Billy stuff. A friend of mine once sent me a Billy Boyd photograph. I never thought about it until I found my own reply back on google :eek:

Ooooooohhhhh... fun! A Billy photograph. I'm sure that's lovely. What do you think is your most favorite Lord of the Rings item in your collection? I used to collect Narnia stuff but I pretty much instantly switched over to Lotr after watching the movies and I'm reading the books right now. I've been going through them pretty slowly. I believe if I speed through them I won't get the full effect of the story and I don't want that to happen. I also am pretty much always busy with schoolwork. Ugh. I've been on this computer all doing it. He He. My cat just came into to visit me. Her name is Bootsie.
