How many languages can you speak?

American Sign Language, that is cool.

Yeah it is. I love signing. It's really fun, and it doesn't take as long to learn as most other languages. I'm only in my second year of it and I can carry conversations with Deaf people.

I speak english and german, and a smattering of Japanese... I tried to teach myself hebrew... that was... interesting to say the least...

lol, that's awesome. Lip reading is prety hard...it takes a while to master it. But once you get it, that'd be so cool.

It would be great if you know every single language in the world. I read that Cleopatra conversed in about 5 languages fluently! I went to the Sushi King restaurant and found out that 'unagi' is an eel. That's an improvement.

So...how do you use sign language? The only sign I know and is commonly used by my friends in school is the middle finger 0.0

Well you can spell things, that's one of the easiest ways. There's a sign for each letter & number.

lol, actually, that's not even a part of sign language. They know what it means, but in American Sign language (ASL) it doesn't mean anything special.

Basically, you use hand shapes, location of the hand, orientation of your hand, Facial expression, and specific movements of your hands to converse without talking. It is really fun, and really useful when you need to talk quietly to someone.
