How to edit videos?

Does anyone here know how? Or know someone who does know how to? Or a forum or something that helps you with that?
Because for December...something....um...I have to give in an assignment, I have not started yet. It has to be a documentary.

If that doesn't help I'll do a powerpoint but that'll be trickier I think. I am so last minute :S

I need replies asap to know if anyone would know or not.
 
All I know is windows movie maker. I have it in my computer by default. I don't know abut anything else. Check in "all programs" and see if you have windows movie maker.
