Ideas for cameos...

In Prince Caspian Tilda Switon had cameos not only as Jadis in the apparition but as a random Centaur. Lots of peopel wodner if they'll find a cameo for her as well as Will and Anna. I came up with a way that it would work within the story and not upset purists too much.

In the Island of Dreams ( or Dark Isle) what if in Edmund's dream he sees Jadis, still alive and well and torturing Peter, Susan, and Lucy ( which would give the older two a cameo) and hears them yelling at him and calling him a traitor.

Lucy's nightmare she witnisses Jadis killing Aslan all over again which is when he appears as the Albatross to them and she hears His Voice saying, "Coruage Dear Heart" and reminds her that He lives. I don't know if they'd be able to do it and keep it PG, but I'm sure they'd find a way.

I wasn't exactly thrilled by the Jadis cameos..... so I don't know if they'll serve a purpose.... we want the movies to stay true to the books....

:( they'll probably change the scenes with Lu and Ed's nightmares alltogether....

I forget what where their nightmares....

I read that Will and Anna said they weren't coming back at all for VODT. I hope they change thier minds though. I'd like to see them maybe in a little part in the beginning instead of just saying "Oh, Su is in America and Pete is with Professor Kirke." :( Maybe Jim Broadbent could have a small part...?

It will be interestng to see how they play out the nightmare sequence. Its going to be really creepy and awesome. I know this is random but i cant wait to hear the music transition to where they escape from the Dark Island. Its the band geek in me

As for random cameos, hmmm, I dont know! :p

You're thinking EXACTLy like me, Hylian Princess. We don't have the narrator tellign us where they are, so there has to be some way to indicate where they are (say have Peter drop them off at the Scrubb house before heading to the professor. Have Lucy asking Susan why they can't go with and ahve their mom say it's too expensive which woud dbe followed by Susan saying, Your'e too young and every one knows I'm the pretiest" to set up for her looking at that page in the magic book. We need to see first that she feels that way.)

Hey, random is fien! I'm a band geek too and I love music scores.

Yes, what about the whole magic book part? Su is in that (sort-of)! :D
i dont like the idea of just leaving Su and Peter. I understand how there really isnt a way to have any of the Pevensies in SC, but VODT it is possible. :) And yeah we need to know that Susan is slowly becoming a a different person. Ish. :p

Hehe...at an honor band we played a song called "Return of the Dawn Treader." It was sooo cool! It really reminded me of VODT. I kept picturing Caspian walking off the ship at Cair Paraval to a crowd of cheering Narnians. Another random moment :p

Exactly. We can't just leave that unsaid .Even in the books there are subtle hinst at who she becomes and we need those in the films otherwise her not being in Aslan's kingdom im LB is too unexpected.

Again, that's fine and the piece sounds cool.

Susan can have a valid cameo in the magic book sequence without having to insert nightmares into the movie. Assuming they do the sequence right for the magic book, she ought to at least have a picture or two in it; Lewis certainly had her in there.

^Agreed. It also might be kind of neat to end the movie with Peter picking up Lucy and Edmund from the Scrubb's house and him saying something like "Have a good time" (sarcastically), and Lu and Ed exchange a glance and one of them say "Wait till we tell you all about it." Sumthin' like that. Just an idea :p

Besides, Lewis never gives any clues to what Lucy or Ed's nightmares were and going into their minds is kind of cliche. I think the best way to play this scene is to do it like the book with the people talking about their dreams.

For the Dark Island, Philip Pullman could make a cameo. It would be his nightmare to be in a Narnia movie and for some fans of Narnia, it would be a nightmare to see him.

^^ I didnt read any of the books (but I'm planning to).So it makes sense that I'm upset.I dont care how they're gonna do it,but I hope that they'll include Susan and Peter in VODT.I feel sad to just leave them like this.

At the risk of giving out spoilers from the books, Christy23, I don't feel sorry for Peter. Only sad that they ended PC with the kiss between Su and Caspian because it will make some of her life choices seem like they are because of it. You really ought to read the books because everything that they did in LWW and most of what they did in PC will make sense.

It definetly would be funny to see him there, but I really doubt he would agree to something like that. Not to mention only a handful of people would recognize him, and an even smaller handful would get a laugh out of the whole thing. Still....

LOLLLLLL!!!!!! HHAHAHAHAHA :D:D

I hope they do something very interesting w/ that scene...w/ all the technology they have, anything's possible. Cinematically, it doesn't exactly work to have everyone talk about the dreams--for fidgety audiences, they'll lose interest. The audience needs to be visually stimulated; therefore, I highly suggest throwing in cameos of Godzilla and Emperor Palpatine, as well as the Killer Rabbit and the weirdo bug-things from Alien. (JUST KIDDING!!! :D)

It'd be nice to see a cameo of maybe Doug Gresham or something...as one of the sleeping lords...just enough to see his face, and maybe a few people would pick it up. Also, I think it would be fun/interesting if they show Ramandu's Daughter throughout the whole movie...like Caspian dream-sequences or something, or a glimpse of an ethereal woman looking "out-of-place" in a Narrowhaven crowd...almost as if Aslan is leading Caspian to her (which, well, He does...LOL).

Oh, and on imdb it has Will and Anna credited for VDT. I dunno...maybe they'll be at the beginning and at the end of the movie, like if they say goodbye to Lu and Ed for the summer, and when Lu and Ed return home. I kind of imagine an end scene where Susan and Peter meet Lucy, Ed, and Eustace and his parents at the train station at the end of the summer and Eustace surprises the two older siblings w/ gigantic hugs. :D I think that would be really funny. Darn! If only I was writing the script...*sends telepathic messages to Stephen Knight* LOL

Seeing Ramandu's Daughter throughout the film would kind of ruin what the real reason of the whole story is if they don't give enough credit to Aslan. I don't think it's plausible.

Philip Pullman and the Killer Rabbit would be enough for the nightmare island, lol.

I think visualizing the nightmares would be an interesting and cool possiblity, but keeping a PG rating might be difficult unless it's done in a Star Wars Episode III-type fashion, maybe. That would be a good place for cameos. I think Anna should be back for the book sequence with Lucy, but I don't see how both of them can come back unless it's all of them parting ways at the train station.

Douglas Gresham could make a cameo as a sleeping lord, that would be funny. He could also be the lord who they find at the nighmare island.

I actually thought of this a few days ago. If Charlton Heston was still alive, perhaps he could have made a cameo as Ramandu! That would have been so cool to see him in long white hair and a beard again! (a.k.a. Moses)

Gresham could be Bern too, I don't think that Rhoop is quite right for Doug. I really think that playing out the dream sequences would be corny.
