If U Could Meet One Character Who Would It Be?

There are scores of characters from books and movies I would love to meet. Regarding Chronicles of Narnia, Aslan is (like almost everyone else) the first choice for me - he is omniscient and, like in TMN, he is able to feel and grieve together with other characters (like Digory Kirke, grieving over his mother). Again, he is that Christ-figure symbol in the books, so that does it for me.

Maybe I'd like to meet the White Witch - partially because I've always been into villains - but also because I would like to know what makes her "tick," and to know her history.

There, now - you asked for one character and I gave you two. ;)

Fledge, Bree, Hwin, Jewel, Aslan, Puddleglum, Tirian, Jill, Lucy, Peter, In other words, just about every one! :D
LOl Elindil, that's not fair!

Welcome, RingMaster! What is your avi? It is scary!

I would pick Aslan of course!
After Aslan, I would say ... Reepicheep.

I would love to meet Aslan...he is by far my favourite character. Ever since I was a kid, I always wished he was real. I wish he was real now more than ever before, when I'm needing some kind of guidance in my life.

He is real! Remember when he was invisible in PC? That didn't make him any less real. He is real in our world and goes by the name of Jesus Christ, CS Lewis as much as said so!

Welcome to the forum, Believer. I hope didn't see you post before. I hope your screen name means that you are a believer in Christ? If so, then you already know Aslan, and he is guiding you right now. :D

If you don't know Christ, please check out Inkspot's Thread of Amazing Grace for many wonderful reasons why you should.

CS Lewis said that the story of Jesus Christ on earth was a "true myth," a fairy tale that we can believe in, because it really happened, and the change that it made for all mankind was this: once we were separated from our true home in paradise, but now we can know that we are headed there when we leave this earth.

I'll shut up now ...

I can't say that I am a true believe in Christ, but I can say that I believe in something greater than ourselves.

Also, I love that Lewis chose Aslan to be a lion. Lions are amazing animals...so noble and majestic and wise...and I've always thought that it would be amazing if animals could speak to us in a language we can understand so that we might learn from them.

Maybe I'm posting in the wrong forums...because I would not consider myself to be Christian (yet that does not mean I am against many of the things the religion teaches). It seems that many of you are Christian and I don't want to offend anyone by sharing my opinions.

And...I just want to add that Reep would have to be my second favourite character, because he demonstrates through his character the qualities that seem to be missing in many people, one of the most important ones being honour.

Reep was cool, I agree. I like Eustace when he was a dragon. What a learning experience for him! (and all of us) How ugly we can become when we pursue self and worldly things!

I am a Christian and I certainly am not offended. Your opinion is valuable and you are being honest. I know many people who claim to be Christian but the fruit of their lives suggests otherwise. And Christianity is more of a relationship than a religion, much like the children and Aslan had.

You won't offend us -- you are a Narnia Fan and that's good enough for us! :) Make yourself at home.

Aside from Aslan, I'd probably meet Susan and try to talk some sense into her. That girl has much to learn.

lol, i played susan in a play (i'm very surprised i got that part becuase i have blonde hair.)& i was put as susan in the narniaweb quiz thing... but i find myself to be more like lucy. Except for the fact that like Susan: 1: paranoid 2:scared of alot of things... not bugs. but like... ppl breaking in. For example, i have really good ears, (QUEEN of evesdropping here!) and i will here a machine in house doing something and it sounds to me like someone walking in. (which brings me back to paraniod!) oh ya... and i guess thats all you need to hear to see that i guess i really am like susan. anyway... i'd probably want to meet... Peter (of course aslan, everyone wants to meet aslan!)

the WW? she would kill you... and i'd be happy because you think that william guy is cuter then orlando bloom... i mean i'd cry and be sad! :) ;)

you might wanna have some form of weapon handy if you met the white witch :D

Besides Aslan, I would most like to meet Mr.Beaver i think. Maybe High King Peter as my name suggests. But I think that mr. Beaver would be a very interesting person to meet.

ww, or Peter, or Edmund out if the LWW book, out of PC Caspian, Reep, out of VDT One of the seven lords maybe, SC Puddleglum, MN....him Jadis, and LB, Tirian
Hey welcome High king peter, nice avvie ;)

I'd probably want to meet Aslan and Reepicheep. I think Reepicheep is brilliant. His got the biggest heart and most honour, and his a 2 foot talking mouse. Who wouldn't wanna meet him?

I also think meeting those Dufflepuds could be a bit of a cack.

I would want to meet Lucy, because she is the most connected to Narnia - she found Narnia, and so she has sort of become part of Narnia, if you get what I mean.

I have to say the White Witch I would love to have her wrap me inside her white fur. OR have dinner with the Beavers. The Beavers are sooo cute and they cracked me up during the movie.
