If You Could Play Anyone...

I wouldn't have this problem you see - actually being English is somewhat of an advantage! I don't know how much Brit TV you get to see outside if the UK - what sort of stuff is there? What accents have you been exposed to? The plain old well spoken BBC accent, or a bit of cockney or west country?

Well, I watch a lot of Billy Boyd interviews on the EE of LotR so I can do him pretty well. But I also like some of Michael Caine's films so I've seen some of those. But to answer your other question, we get some British films out here. Two comedies I can think of are Johnny English and Shaun of the Dead. But my favorite British comedy is Michael Caine and Ben Kingsley in "Without a Clue".

But we're getting off topic. Like I said I think it would be fun to play Caspian, Tirian, or any of the other ians. I was pretty excited to hear the rumour that they have started on the script for Prince Caspian and that they definitely plan to make it if the first film is a success.

Rhindon - re the PC movies - i read an interview with James MAcavoy yesterday who has confirmed that PC will definately go ahead (probably becasue they know that LWW wil be a huge hit whatever! :D )

Could you post a link to the interview? I'd be much obliged.

I'm not sure if it would be on the net or not, but i'll have a quick look now as see if i can find any thing

interview

i thinks thats it (??). He seems pretty defo that it's going ahead, which I'm sure will please you! Hope you can get as you have to register to get onto the site.

i think i would have wanted to play aravis........but, being 1.70 tall, verry slim, having long dark hair, and pale skin, i would have shown up for the audition for the role of jadis

If the link hasn't worked try going to The Sunday Times website and register - don't worry it's free!. You'll find the interview in the Culture section, can't remember what the inetrview is called though, but it's about fourth down the list in the index, something about him (james Mcavoy) being everywhere

I would luv to be Caspian!!!! ooooh..that would be awsome, but since i'm a girl..i think i will stick with Aravis..i think she gets lots of action...and, ofcourse, thats what i like the most...lol :D

What is the attraction with playing Caspian? It's not something i can really get to grips with - anyone explain? If i had to play a male character it would probably have to be Ed - such changes in character and lots of figthing!

I'd like to play Puddleglum. I'm tall, gangley, laid back, like to fish and live down in the marshes and swamps of south Louisiana so I'd feel right at home.

First choice would be Lasaraleen, without a doubt. She would be tonnes of fun to play and I would love it.

Second choice would be Jill, because The Silver Chair is the most mysterious one, and she gets all sorts of fun lines.

~Nelli.

I'd like to play the production designer or (like I mentioned before) Director of Photography. As production designer I could do all sorts of drawings and that'd be cool. I love to draw. And I love creating a "look" to stuff.
