Yeah, some movies really ARE pathetically disappointing. It's sad, because even though the STORY LINE is good in some movies, the whole movie just...stinks like molded cheese. And you think, 'You know, that COULD have been a good movie if they had better actors and directors...' but you know that it's never going to happen. Some movies are meant to be flops and others are meant to make big bucks.
'War of the Worlds' is an example. I'm not sure how many people have seen that movie, but I thought it was THE worst remake I had ever seen. The only good part was Dakota Fanning. If Dakota Fanning hadn't had been in it, I probably would have got up right in the middle and left and asked for a refund. That is an example of a good storyline, but it still stank like molded cheese. Steven Spielberg usually has good movies too...shame.
