Just finished reading the book...can't wait for it!
I saw the trailer in the theatre, but I need to watch it again cos I can't remember any of it.

Not at all pleased with Basta and Capricorn. Capricorn needs to be more EVIL, and he has hair in the book -.-'
Elinor's okay, I guess. But I was satisfied with the castings of Meggie, Mo and Dustfinger.
Please please let them keep to the story and let the actors be amazing! I don't want it to be a flop like Eragon.

Mo is good. I know the actor for Dustfinger is good, but I had imagined him differently...
Farid looks...err...strange. :p
& I hope they stick to the book!
 
I loved the books! Haven't seen the trailer yet, mainly cuz I've been obsesing over tehcasting calls for the Twilight movie to pay attention to anyhthing else, and therefore I didn't know the trailer was out. :P Who plays Dustfinger? He was my fave character and I'll cry if they ruined him.
 
I'm gonna be the party pooper and say: I doubt they'll do a good job, the trailer was disappointing, its highly unlikely the movie will be any better.

(Yes, I know, I'm impossible to please.)
 
It's difficult to make a great book into a great film... I rant and rave after every Harry Potter film because they'll have left a fave part of mine out and I thought it was wrong to do so... >_> Hopefully they'll not leave out some of the awesome parts of Inkheart.
 
^^ Yeah I agree about the Harry Potter thing. I get so MAD when they leave good bits out.

And I'm not going to judge the movie until it comes out and I've seen it. Trailers can be misleading sometimes. Is it me, or does Meggie seem a bit...weedy in the trailer? o_o I imagined her a BIT fiercer at least.
 
the book was amazing..some of the characters werent as i imagined them.. i doubt the movie will be as good as the book, sometimes you just cant comapre them..but ill have to watch the movie before i say anythign more

yea, i expectes meggie to be more..idk..just a bit more of somethign.older? confident? idk..shes lacking something
 
i started inkheart yesterday (have never read the others). im like twenty pages from the end and, so far, love the book:D
