OH MY WORD, those are AMAZING!!!! :D I love the Farimir/Eowyn one the best, but the Lucy one is fantastic!! You are amazing with graphics!! Where do you get your textures, and what program do you use?

*screams* The Faramir and Eowyn one is absolutely gorgeous! The colors are so rich and vivid, the image is lovely, the text and font are perfect, and.... It's just all together awesome. My mouth hung open when I first saw it. It's just so awesome that I don't know what to say to communicate how awesome it is. :D

Ironically, I love her too. Wonder why...?

And ahyperdude, yup. Celebrilomiel does tend to throw in linguistic curveballs...which is why I love her so much. She's the most AMAZING bff in the world...and a really fabulous writer, if I may brag on her just a tad.
*glomps* I wuv you, Kristy. Thanks. xD

*gasp, shock, and awe* I echo what someone said earlier: That is one of the, if not THE, most gorgeous Lucy banners I have ever beheld.

The FaramirxÉowyn banner... *squee* Vivid JOY. That's what it is. That banner is encapsulated joy. Now please excuse me while I go read 'The Steward and The King', at which I shall gush with pleasure and thence extol Tolkien and this epic pairing.

You guys are so funny ;) :D

I use plain ol' ordinary, unassuming GIMP, which can be downloaded here for free.

The texture used in the Faramir/Eowyn graphic was found here (last one on the page). For the others, I searched some of my fav resource sites and did a combo job, sites such as:

http://www.brusheezy.com/Textures
http://www.hybrid-genesis.com/ (my personal favorite)

And the rest of you...hey, you made me smile hugely, and even laugh once or twice. Thanks so much for the great encouragement!

The text for the banner was inspired by one of the songs in the musical "Oklahoma!" that I recently had the pleasure of seeing performed locally. It's not the exact same wording, but it gets the gist of it across. ;)

The avvie was the conglomeration of lyrics by Kutless from somewhere in my past and the passage in the Bible where Jesus declares that He is the water of life:

John 7:37-38 said:
"...Jesus stood and shouted to the crowds, "Anyone who is thirsty may come to me! Anyone who believes in me may come and drink! For the Scriptures declare, 'Rivers of living water will flow from his heart.'"

These verses dovetail marvelously with the story of the Samaritan woman who came to get water at a nearby well where Jesus was. One thing led to another in the ensuing conversation, and Jesus finally told her, "If you only knew the gift God has for you and who you are speaking to, you would ask Me, and I would give you living water." (John 4:13) He further explained, "Anyone who drinks this water [from this well] will soon become thirsty again. But those who drink the water I give will never be thirsty again. It becomes a fresh, bubbling spring within them, giving them eternal life." (4:14)

He is the Living Water...He alone has the words of life. So, all who are thirsty: come and drink.

The new graphics are so pretty! I love the rustic appearance your coloring gives to the banner. The colors are fantastic, and the picture is quirky and cute.

The avatar is lovely and meaningful! That's one of my favorite colors, too. :p

I love how the banner is so perfectly saturated. <3 The colors are wonderful. I love the fonts you used for both avvy and banner. You are going to pursue a career in graphic design, right? Because you're one of the best graphic designers whose work I have had the pleasure to view.

both of them are amazing, the colors are great!

Thank yers. You're making me beam and blush simultaneously. I have to confess that the picture, although stock, was already edited enough to where I practically just slapped on a texture and some text.

As to that career in graphic design...well, we'll see. English and theatre have just a tad louder of a call right now. :)

Hullo! I hath a request. ^.^

Would you please make me a wallie out of this picture and the text "halfway out of the dark"? I tried to do it myself, and was entirely displeased with the results, but I know that you can do it. :D So if you find the time to make it, I would be very obliged.

I have a request as well, and I have photos. :D

I'd like a banner and avatar set (please) with these photos (I don't care how they're arranged; usually the way I want them turns out wacky, lol). With the text: Tony Stewart, 2011 Sprint Cup Series Champion; Way to go Smoke!

Thanks!
