Has it eaten anyone yet?

You could argue that it eats people as part of a sociological study, but I have my doubts that the German government would consider that a valid defense.

Actually, I imagine that the German government is happy about every student they don't have to pay for any longer. It would free up money to invest in air conditioning for schools..........

So...mass murder is all right if it eases the strain on the air conditioners?

I realize that some air conditioners suffer from emotional turmoil, but I didn't know it was that bad.

Don't think of it as mass murder. Think of it as social cleansing. And cleansing things is good.

Not having air conditioning in classrooms is the real mass murder.

You're thinking of the wrong kind of Germany... or possibly the Ministry of Magic under Pius Thicknesse.

The right kind of Germany is the one where dancing epidemics break out every few years and an appropriate percentage of people die of exhaustion.

Huh. That's actually very helpful as an excuse for the prevailing unwillingness to dance. Not many people argue with trauma. (I know, I know, you would. You're probably going to. Or certainly. The prophetess has spoken. *twirls around in grass skirt*)

I've tried to argue with Trauma, but it never works, because Trauma won't argue; it just cries and makes ad hominem comments about how my opinions developed.

Also, if you are a prophetess, that could explain a lot about how Oedipus got so confused when he went to Delphi....

Sure, make me responsible for Oedipus' problems! I only asked him how to pronounce his name, and he began to cry and ran away. No wonder he developed problems with his mother if she gave him such a complicated name. Why couldn't she have called him Kevin?

Some monks have a tendency to show up at awkward moments and mess things up for everyone else, because holiness.

The Romans used to have lots of fun at sporting events before St. Telemachus showed up and ruined it.

No. Senators perform assassinations. St. Telemachus did not assassinate anyone. Ergo, not a senator.

I can't make out whether his mother would have been proud of him for keeping his hands clean or disappointed because he made no effort to become a senator. Clearly, it must be either of the two.

And apparently, no one knows who his mother is, so it remains a mystery. That ought to make you happy.

I figured you would like the mystery part, because you enjoy confusion/defenestration/impaling.

And I think that inside, you really enjoy having people refuse to answer your questions, so I refuse to tell you why sweat tastes salty.
