I've decided to take the plunge...*gulp*

If only this work computer would allow me to download Photofiltre! Photofiltre has many masks and a pretty decent sharpening filter...
It takes sooo much longer to make a nice banner with only Photobie, Irfanview (for resizing) and MS Paint (for text)... and you can't use bordered text on Paint and this computer won't let me download additional fonts.:mad: oh well.:rolleyes: HAHA, I had to vent some of my frustration...:D






If there aren't any requests, anyone can feel free to give me some banner/avatar/animation suggestions!;)
 
MGGT: Yeah, I never downloaded it before since it was Shareware...I just now calculated how much it would cost to register. 25.00 Euro = 33.2850 United States Dollars Not bad! Hey, even Paintshop Pro isn't that cheap! Maybe I'll get it... lol:p Except this computer never lets me download Photofiltre (ANY version - there is always an error in the file.txt something or other...:rolleyes: )

LC: How do you want it? Certain pics/colors/text? :)
 
Well, I was thinking (very dangerous, I know. :rolleyes: ) of the text being "And may all your Christmases be white." The pic...hmmm....Maybe one with the four main characters singing White Christmas at the end. I could go with any direction on the picture, but I thought that'd be a nice touch. I was also wondering if you could make the border to look like a frosted window? Or...whatever it's called. Sorry for all the rambling...I'm can't think today. 0.o
 
LC, I made your banner before I checked the thread again...sorry about that. It's blurry and I tried my best to fix that, but I don't have a better program on my work computer (it seems like I'm always saying that!:D)

I had a TERRIBLE time trying to find pics, there weren't any hi quality images - and I don't have it on DVD to make screencaps.

About your new specifications: I've usually been able to find pics for everyone, but this time would you mind finding the ones you want and posting them here for me? That would be awesome!

...I am soo excited - yesterday I finally was able to install Photofiltre on my work computer: apparently it just needed to be downloaded to the My Documents folder....yay!

heh, I tried to make one with photopro but umm... since I still have no clue how to make blends it didn't really turn out the way I hoped it would.. I was sort of wanting to make it look like Simba was nuzzling Melia (one of the main chars in my story) and then in a pretty text there could be written 'there will be Beauty From Pain'
