I seem to write Poetry better then stories..lol... so..I figured I'd share some with ya'll!


The Dance

Took His Hand And Held It Tight.
Spun Me Round And Round.
Dizziness Took Me But At Once It Faded.
The Gleam In His Eye Took Away My Fright.

Slowly Moving About The Floor.
Two And Fro.
We Keep In Time With The Beat.
When We Finally Stop And He Lets Go.
I Just Want To Hold His Hand More.

It Has Ended Now.
I Must Admit...
I Fell In Love With Him.
And I'll Love Him Forever.
Alone I'm Lost.
With Him, I'm Found.​

Just a grammatical note, fourth line of the second verse (stanza?), shouldn't it be "he lets go"?

But apart from that, very nicely done.

Though the caps kind of distracted me... But that may be just me. :o
 
I Can, I Miss

I can see your face.
It could light up a dark room.
I know it lit my heart
It brought me back from the gloom.

I can feel your touch.
Whether an accidental bump...
or a comforting nudge.
Oh I love it so much.

I miss you so bad.
I think of you often...
And I'd give anything to hear your voice.
The thought of not being with you makes me sad.

I miss you when I think...
Of all we've been through...
or how much time I've spent with you.
It was gone in just one blink.​
 
Dark,Love​
Shadows Fade In The Night.
I Watch As You Fade From My Sight.
I Miss You So Dearly.
Without You The Dark Seems Eerie.

Others Tell Their Love.
It's Sweet As The Flight of A Dove.
Love Is Lingering, Hindering, Deceiving.
Thinking About It Stops Me From Breathing.

I Want Only To Be With You.
I Hope You Want To Be With Me Too.
I Delight In Your Return.
My Heart,it Burns.​
 
Return
Hear the tick-tocking of the clocks.
Watch it as it mocks.
I'm getting tired of waiting for you.
If wasting time was a crime I'd sue.

Where are you, my heart wonders.
Hearing the sky as it thunders.
I pace to and fro awaiting.
Cant find anything sedating.

I wonder if you're ever coming back.
I now offically lack...
The means to go on.
Without you what can I act upon?

I fear life without you.
My heart, it flew,
Fluttered, and Trembled.
My heart now feels disassembled.

You now draw near.
No more fear.
I love you so.
Last time I saw you it felt so long ago.​
 
Keep The Faith

Drip, Drop, Drip
Tears fall down.
Abandon ship
Dont drown.

Attempt to ignor the sorrow
Dont let it destroy you.
There is always tomorrow.
You know it is true.

Fear and pain..
Can disappear.
It can cause a strain.
It can leer.

Pray and keep the faith.
It'll all be over soon.
God will keep you safe.
Hum along to this tune.

Hope in the Lord.
Lean on Him.
Walk toward...
He'll fill your cup to the brim.​
 
Creation

Look at the sun,the moon, the stars.
Aren't they amazing?
Like dreams afar.
It sends my heart a blazing.

Look at the grass, the flowers, the trees.
They sure are pretty.
I hear the rustling of the leaves.
Don't look at them with pitty.

No they can't talk or walk...
but each is special and unique.
The key is to unlock...
and not look at them like they're weak.

God created all this..
And more
God does exist
He is the door.​

~Bad/Good Friend~

What is a friend?
Are they loving and kind?
Or when they dont get their way do they twist and bend?
Friendship is supposed to be a love that binds.

Anger and backstabbing have no place..
when you're a good friend.
But many walk away and leave no trace..
of caring they once did lend.

A true friend will risk everything for another.
No selfishness abroad.
For friends are supposed to be like sisters and brothers.
With anger a friend is just a fraud.​
 
I like it that you make the effort to come up with rhymes which are not the ultra-hyper-overused standards, like "He saved my soul and made me whole."
 
4 Line Poem

I Cannot Ignore What Has Been Done.
I Cannot Forget The Mistakes That Were Made.
After Everything, My Heart Weighs A Ton.
Tomorrow, Into The Crowd, I Shall Fade.​
