Her long red hair was spread out in the grass. She looked up at the sky. She looked over at him for a second just for a second. "How would you measure life?" she asked turning back to the sky.
 
"How would you measure it? Do you measure it in minutes, sunsets, or just life itself?" she asked softly. "How would you measure all of this?"
 
"I don't know... I'm just a visitor in this world. A short visit, until I die. But when I die... It'll be just another trip."

"Yes, but how do you measure the time from life to death and all that falls in between?" she asked softly.
 
"I don't... I just live as much as I can... See all that I can see, do all that I can do, in the short time I'm here."
 
She paused for a moment. "I think that we each measure it differently..." she whispered. "Yes, we each measure it with what means the most to us..."
 
"After I left Belledale, I was what you could call, a wild fireball... Going to random places... Then I caught a falling star..."

"I've never caught a star before...I didn't think it was possible..." she said.
 
She turned over on her stomach and rested her face in her hands. "Really? What was she like?" Frenchie asked. She'd never met a star before and was very intrigued to hear about one.
 
"Well, she fell from the sky, and because I caught her, she said she would give me the thing my heart desires. I didn't really get to choose though... She just shot out a beam of light, and went back... Then... In the next field... I found you."

"Do you know her name?" Frenchie asked. "Did you ever get your heart desire?"
 
"Well, she never told me her name... Just thanked me... And I did get what my heart wanted... but it wasn't what I thought it would be."
 
He looked over at her. "It was you. She made you drop down from flying, and crash into the field. My heart's desire had something to do with you."

She looked away for a moment. "I don't think that's possible..." she said. She did remember that day though, when she was 8 and dropped down from practicing flying.
 
"But...'He' erased it. 'He' made it like you never fell... 'He' made it like you never... Never mind. Anyways, I have a question for you now! Do you remember anything about me?"
