ic-The party was finally over, and Nathariel said good-night to everyone, and rushed to bed, excited about Christmas morning.

"Dear boy, you really are devoted to this girl. Look, I'd check down in the hills just East of here about 5 miles, that's where she usually is..." the druid whispered. "But bring something to trade with her, she doesn't do healing for free..."

"Maybe you could find another arangment...but I'd go quickly...she doesn't stay in one place for a long time..." the druid explained. "She may go easy on the girl, her being half elf, but you, my dear boy...you watch out for her. She's more a witch than a druid, but she is the only one who has more power than Molena..." he sighed. "She'll take your life and ruin your future, don't ever look her in the eye...her eyes are what traps all the boys who bring their girls to be healed..." he shook his head. "Best luck to you..."
 
Nathariel woke the next morning to a soft light streaming through her window, broken by the frost left by the previous week's blizzard. Remembering what day it was, she rushed through her morning routine and ran downstairs to the large living room where the tree was, but was stopped by the guard at the door who reminded her that she could not enter until the rest of the family came down, so she settled herself in a window seat to wait.
 
*Lucy woke up and rubbed her eyes*

"I should get ready." she murmured.

*Lucy washed her hair, then curled it, and added a few touches to her make-up*

"I think I'm ready."

*She walked in the hallway and saw Nathariel*

"Nathariel, what are we waiting for?"
 
Her friend put her head against the cold window. "We are waiting for Mother and Father to get down here, and Anakin too. Wait, didn't he say he couldn't be here this morning, but was going to come later?"
 
"Figures. Oh well. Merry Christmas by the way." she laughed. "Oh look! There's Mother and Father now! Merry Christmas!" she said as the monarchs walked up to the two teenagers.

"Merry Christmas!" she said as she hugged her.

*She bowed to Nathariels parents*

"Merry Christmas your Majesties." she said.
 
"Merry Christmas to you Nathariel and Lady Lucy. Shall we go in?"
The king nodded to the guard who opened the door and Nathariel ran in.
"Oh Lu! You MUST open my present first, after you look in your stocking! I wonder what Father Christmas brought us?"
She emptied her stocking to find candy and a beautiful necklace.

"Its a bracelet embedded with pearls!" she exclaimed.

"Now you must open the present that I got you."

"They're gorgeous. Its..its beautiful."

*Lucy was still in shock*

"Now..open yours."

*Inside was a huge velvet scarf and a strip of the silkiest silk with diamonds all over them*

*In the second box, was a matching dress and the diamonds were shining all over the room*

*In the third box there was a pair of glass slippers*
