"I feel like a baguette" he replied with a cute smile. They started to move along the que "I don't know what it is with you chicks. All you ever seem to eat are salads" he said grabbing a tray.
Aundrea walked out of the classroom and into the cafeteria, even though she really didn't feel like eating. She bought a bottled water and a bag of Doritos then sat down with a few friends at the 'in-crowd' table.
"Salads are good... and they're healthy," she replied. "I don't understand why guys eat so much," she added as a few guys paid for meals that spread over multiple trays.
"Because thats what the food is there for, to be eaten. How can you just be satisfied with a salad, I'll never understand chicks" he replied grabbing a chicken and mayo baguette and a bottle of water. "Besides we have a higher metabolism than you guys, you know from all our long hours of working out" he said jokingly although Ethan did work out a lot.
Rachel rolled her eyes as she grabbed a caesar salad from the shelf. "Well, it's not my fault that I like to look good. And besides, if I did eat all that," she nodded to what he'd grabbed, "I wouldn't be able to play like i do."
"Sure you could as long as you exercise" he replied paying for his food. He tried to find a place to seat and he almost went and sat by Aundrea, instinctly.
Rachel followed, noticing how he began towards Aundrea. "Come on, there's some free seats over here," she said, pulling him over to seats with some of his soccer friends.
"Hey guys" Ethan said to the boys.
"Hey Ethan, Racheal. Heard what happened between you and Aundrea" one of the guys began.
"Who hasn't?" Ethan asked retorically.
"Sorry man...we knew you really liked her" they has no idea he was with Racheal now.
"Well.." Ethan mumbled biting into his sandwich.
Aundrea looked over from where she sat and noticed that Ethan was sitting with Rachel. A pang of jealousy shot through her, she turned her head and tryed her best to ignore it.
ic: Rachel looked at Ethan and cleared her throat. Was he going to say anything? Or just let them think that he was pining over Aundrea. She watched him expectantly.
