Pepper watched him leave before she entered the house. But it was strange Jasper didnt come running up to her like he usually did. Instead he just sat in his basket. "Jasper........" Pepper said worriedly but he didnt even respond just looked at her glumly, he was ill.

Their grandfather came up and told them, "Tea's ready."
Bennet smiled, and walked with the others inside the house.

Amy sat down next to Jack and her brother" Hey Bro can you pour my tea for me please?,"She ask him.

"Of course." Bennet picked up the tea pot and poured tea into her cup. Then he went around and poured tea in everyone's cup.

Amy took a sip of her tea" Thank,"She said, with a smile.

"No problem." Bennet said, taking a sip of his tea.
Their Grandfather said, "This is nice, having you all here for tea. Especially you Jake, it's wonderful that we get to spend time with a new member of the family." He smiled, kindly.

Amy face turn pink" Yes Jack I'm glad you are here as well,"She told him.

Pepper immediately called his vet. He came over but didnt tell Pepper what she wanted to hear.
"He's very ill Pepper. I can take him inot the practice and we'll try and help him" he said saldy.
Pepper nodded and watched as he took Jasper away with tears in her eyes. she felt so helpless but the vet had insisted that she not come.

Bennet finished his tea. "That was very delicious." He said, smiling.
