Mafia 19

You know, I really think that there's entirely too much turncoating going on this game. The Mafia have won all of the last several games, because everybody thinks it's cool to turncoat, so the Mafia & allies usually are equal in numbers to the regular civvies/jobs, giving them the clear advantage. What's bad is when an important job like the Duke turncoats, because then the civvies really have almost no chance. I'm trying to think of a way to make turncoating impossible, but so far I haven't come up with one.

Considering it is always the same people *tries to look innocent but fails miserably* who do it, people just ought to suspect it. I must say though, all of us had decided that we were going to team up before we knew each other's jobs.

*Swears not to turncoat next game.*

It is not because we all think it's cool; I would have no problem turncoating the Mafia and making the civilians win, I've just never had a chance ;)

The day was bleak, the small particles of unknown material flew through the air of the courtyard.
On the stage stood the announcer, and beside him stood two men in black cloaks. The two men on stage pulled off their cloaks and revealed themselves to be Olorin the Wise and Driad54, the murderous Mafia, bent on making this world in their image, and destroying those who stand in their way...
From four gates to the courtyard entered four different traitors, one pulled off their cloak to reveal fish_wwjd_frog, a mere Civilian.
Another revealed herself to be Gondorgirl, another Civilian.
The next revealed herself to be ~Lava~, the corrupt cupid of this town.
And the last, was shown to be twilightdryadhobbit, the absent and evil Duke.

Mafia 19 has been won by the MAFIA and TURNCOATS

Hope yall had fun.

Well, if we are going to enumerate turncoat times, my list would almost be as long as fishie's I guess. But my turncoat history has been blotted out by the numerous times where I have been actually duped or I turned double agent.

By the way, we all had decided to team up before the last game ended so it was not as if we expected to be mafia turncoats.

My list is somewhat shorter and not quite so full of masterminding plans as some other people's.... ;)

I had a feeling that you Olorin the Wise were a Mafia which is why I would not tell you who I knew about. My hunch was right! You were the only one to contact me..

i feel so decieved, LAVA!!!!! :(;)

What did you expect? I am almost always up to something when I play, either I am drudging for pertinent information for one side or the other or I am trying to throw people off someone else's trail. This time I happened to be doing both. Of course, if the lovers died in the first "24 hours" of a mafia game, bells would have gone in my head about a possible cupid turncoat.
