Mafia Game 35: Prison Riot

Sorry guys for not having posted sooner, the internet at the house has been acting really funky since the bad storms that rolled through my area on Tuesday. I unfortunately cannot post it at this moment but will hopefully do it tonight.

Again I must start by apologizing, this time for the DP.

The first night started with more terrible storming and multiple power outages. Though wary of each other, they all found themselves a cot or bed or chair to sleep upon. Some with hopes that the day lights would bring a break in the storm and the ability to leave the prison. Others were much more aware of how these things worked. They knew that it could take days, weeks to fix the computer system. Then bad went to worse, not only did the power continue to go out but some of the other cell blocks were released by the the troubles with the computer system. Brushy Mountain now had a full scale riot. Inmates were running around free in the halls outside and beating on the door trying to break in to the medical unit to get the medications. There was a substantial fight that happened in the corridor right outside the medical unit door as two warring prison gangs, kept separate to prevent major violence found themselves free to do as they pleased to each other.

It almost made the people locked in the medical unit feel better about their trapped state. At least, they were not out THERE. However, right before morning dawned a stifled scream was heard inside the medical unit. A few moments later the power flickered on and the people of the Medical unit woke to find WarriorSatyr hanging from a sheet off the upper mezzanine of the medical unit. As they pulled the body in, they found pinned to the sheet a note:

One is down, one less to stop us,
Indeed, one of us just bought our freedom,
6 civilians in, 6 civilians out. They will never know the difference.

It is now DAY, vote please

For no good reason, I am suspecting Elsesta.

I think people forgot they were playing a game or Glen and Lossy are burying it under other threads for their own amusement.

so...

For reason that I am a chicken and don't know who else to vote for, I'm gonna go with the power of the crowd of one and vote for Elsesta, too

As it drew toward their second evening, the hope was waning in the hearts of the people who were new to this setting. The riot was still going strong outside and the massive storm continued outside. They had had more power outages than they cared to count. At one point, they were able to hear one of the walkie-talkies broadcast that they had had to call back the CERT team because of the weather. The team had no safe way to enter the prison.

They were still stuck, they were not sure how long it would be until they got freed or got food. The threat of the cacophonous noise that was ever present in the hall just outside made it so they did not even want to try to get out until the riot was quelled. However, people in the medical unit were realizing that they were less safe in their own little part of the prison than they thought. Suddenly, fernshirehobbit could not take it anymore, she shout out loud "Let's take a vote, we are growing no safer in here. They are going to kill us one by one if we do not try to get them first. I think Elsesta is an inmate. Who is with me?"

Though many were quiet on the matter, anyone willing to speak agreed. They grabbed to same sheet and before any could stop them or Elsesta could fight. They threw her over the balcony with it around her neck.

Just as Elsesta breathed her last, the power went out again. Night had fallen and the storm was getting worse.

Well, this is rather terrifying... To take my mind off the horrors of this dreadful trip, I believe I shall read a book. I'm glad I left my panda at home, because even though it would be comforting to have a stuffed animal with me, it's not worth the risk of something dreadful happening to him.

Such as GG eating your panda! The moment you put your book down, GG will probably eat that too!
