Oh now whoa. Hold on. Let me remind you of something. The ONLY way for ghosts to have any fun AT ALL is for them to help, or at least attempt to help, their former teammates. By disallowing this, you have just insured that Mafia is going to become much less popular, and MORE PEOPLE are going to get mad at you. So, I'm asking you, if you knew certain ghosts were going to leak, WHY DIDN'T YOU ASK THEM NOT TO? I'm sure that if you had asked reasonably, presenting good reasons for doing so, that they would readily have conceded to this.

Alright, well, if I don't tell you then RF or Slp will, so it's like this...

RF started it. She decided she wanted to call me 'lorin, instead of Olorin, and so it wasn't long before she realized that 'lorin sounds like Lauren, so she started calling me Lauren, and so did Little Jimmy over there and Benny, so now they all think of me as Lauren. Hmph.

I just want to remind you guys that after this day and the following night The game will be paused. I am going out of town and will be gone all weekend till sometime Monday afternoon. I would suggest that people use that time to cool down and rebuild friend-/enemyships.

Olorin if you read the rule I am not saying that you cannot try to influence the vote. I am saying that you may not say specific names (or hints that would make people know beyong the shadow of a doubt who you were talking about) to try to influence the vote. If you are general and generally Respectful, you can still influence the vote. It maybe more fun to think of ways to say it without breaking the rule than just out and saying it.
 
Basically we can't CAST a vote by saying vote Lava if she hadn't already been voted for.

Lioness_Aslan voted Lava, then we ghosts, if we thought she was the mafia, would then support (or dis-support) that vote. But say she voted RF, then we could not say VOTE LAVA because she hadn't been voted for. Make sense?
 
Sorta. Still... what's the difference between a ghost finding info and a living player finding info? Nothing! What's the difference between a living player saying 'vote for Lava' and a ghost saying 'vote for Lava'? Nothing! What gives the ghosts any special info that would make it unfair for them to aid their side? Nothing!

Well, much as I love to win, and having lots of info helps with that of course, I see some of Lava's point. If you're a ghost, it's likely you were killed for some reason, and being killed may have connected your hypothosis' on who is Mafia, giving you a certain suspect. Also, once you're dead, you have no reason to lie, since you're already dead.

And, much as I hate to defend the mafia, it kind of destroys the usefulness of killing people. Often the ghosts are much more dangerous than the people left alive, because they'll form theories that are quite often dead (ha, ha... ;)) right about who is mafia. The mafia gains nothing by killing them and will probably hurt themselves. The point of game is more to give everyone a fair chance than to jump on the mafia. (Though that is fun..... :D)

I know you guys are gonna say 'But Ben has been right so far. He lobbyed GKON innocent, and GKON was. And he insisted everyone vote for Slp, and she was guilty. That's supicious of RF for voting for someone who knows what they're doing.' So if you'd like, I can give my reasons, but I'm not going to unless someone asks.
 
Lets see.

The mafia killed someone (I forget who:p). Then we hung Slp, she was mafia. Now everyone thinks that IOWW is mafia, and I just voted for Ben.
