Whoa!!! I havent ventured into this crazy world of Dufferdom for a LONG long time!!! I looked at the first page of this thread and it brought back so many memories! How is the land since I had my vacation?

It's been quite good, with its ups and downs, but it's fun:D (and you know: you are a member of the Order of the Can now, and you didn't even have to ask Dernhelm nicely:p)
 
The Land of Duffers has declined somewhat... true Duffers are now few and far between. The Land is now dominated by threads of un-Dufferness, fiendish polluters!

Somewhat declined, but better than when you left, I believe. Are you planning on coming back much?

I'm surprised you remember that LoL HAS a face...I certainly wouldn't have expected to see it, considering how long it has been gone...:p Anyways, founders are always included in their own orders. So you are a member anyhow.

On the other hand, Lieke is probably right - the tame restrictions of being a public face for Dufferdom are not great and free and Dufferly enough for you...:D
 
They anger doth exceed all reasonable bounds, oh Dernyhelm(et). For what reason dost thou make such faces of wrath when the members of this forum have pressed many and great compliments upon thee?
 
Because these compliments, (if compliments they be) are false, and my great anger stems not so much from the nature of that which is pressed upon me, but from the inattention to my denial thereof. This inattention is so often repeated that me anger at this point is, I believe, justifiable.
 
Ah, but thou must remember that members of this forum, and especially those most devoted to posting in this wondrous Land of Duffers will continue in their doing of one thing until it hath passed all reasonable bounds, thereby making new ones. Thus it is not reasonable for thee to grow wroth at them, for they have created new bounds of reason.
 
This thing would depend in every way upon what it is that the person under consideration considers to be defined under the phrase 'reasonable bounds'...for that person might find their definition to be more conservative, and be not agreeable with the more recently defined 'bounds of reason' defined by the most illogical and thinking challenged group called by the name of 'Duffers'.
