Michael Jackson Died.

It is confirmed that he died. The cause of death is tentatively listed as heart failure.

He was just a few months older than I. I'll be turning 50 in September.

While any death is sad, I'm dismayed that he died on the same day as Farrah Faucett since she had a lot more personal courage and character. I hope her story doesn't get submerged under the basement of Neverland.

The AP just annoced that he died, and it's hard to believe that he died. He was only five years younger than my dad, who is 55. Even with all the things he was accused of doing, I'm sad that such a music legend has passed away, and with three younger children...

Yes I just read it....................I can't believe it..........Even though he had been in the media negative lately he always had been a part of the ,music history. I recall the days my brother and I loved Billy Jean and sang his songs. This is shocking news! Very shocking and horrible. After Farrah fawcett another star of my youth died

I find it strange that two of perhaps the most opposite celebrity types died on the same day. From what I've gathered, Michael Jackson was practicing just last night for his return tour. Perhaps he rehearsed a too hard for his body, riddled with whatever medicine he might have been taken or whatever physical condition he was truly in.

It's all sad. Three celebrity deaths within one week (specifically within two days). As I said on my Facebook status, it only goes to show how quickly life can end, and that nothing earned on this earth will mean everything when we come face-to-face with God.

Good riddance!

Sure he was an amazing artist... back in the 80s at his high point... but he's turned into a weird, creepy white pervert who got a nose job from one of Santa's elves.

...But he's the most prolific of the three. Ed and Farrah were both famous for only one thing they did. At least Michael was a little more... varietal.

Well, you know what they say...Celebrities die in three's.

I was sad this morning when I heard Farrah had died, and then to come home in the afternoon to hear MJ died was just unbelievable. Farrah is just an amazing icon, a beautiful woman and a beautiful soul. I'm not a fan of Michael in his later years, but I have a lot of respect for his early career. He meant a lot to millions of people, and I'll be praying for his family, friends, and fans who are greiving right now.

I agree completly. I thought he wanted to become a vampire.:p
He did some strange things.he once dangled his son from a window! And plus, his sense of style was.....gone,basically.Pjs,masks(I don't care about the stupid swine flu!),turbans,just......cooky.

He was pretty famous, though,i admit.Everybody seemed to know who he was.

But i'm not gonna miss him.

Died of a heart attack..at 50...really sad though still.

I won't let what the media bashes on him about,
and what they've said he's done and all that,
decide whether or not I think this is sad.
What he did or didn't do is in the past, and now's a time
to grieve the King of Pop's passing.

Whether or not it's true doesn't make this any
of the less heartbreaking. He still was great musician.:(

Whether someone is sad or not is up to them. I liked the Michael Jackson before 1985. The one he became after 1985 was such a weirdo. He should have gotten better support from his management. But we all know they will say Michael was an adult and should have known right from wrong. However the MJ before 1985 was an amazing talented singer with a great musical mind. Let's not forget the man once was a highly respected teenage star who surprised the world with his awesome voice

Truly THE greatest enetertainer through all time. He has given so much to the world. I'm simply stunned that MJ died yesterday. Even from a guy who listens to mostly heavier music; there was no one better. No one even close. May he rest in peace.
