Michael Jackson Died.

"And now, something terribly sad - apparently, his two oldest children aren't his. They were from a sperm donor, and their mother - MJ's wife after Elvis' daughter - doesn't want them in her life."

Just a correction with that, QueenSusan, Lisa Marie is not the mother of any of Jackson's children. Their mother is Debbie Rowe, whose parental status with the children is unknown. She originally signed away her legal rights upon their births, but then later successfully filed a suit to regain her parental rights.

As for their biology, while I do wonder whether they were actually his as they don't look biracial, they are still Michael's. He was their father. Their DNA won't lessen their grief at losing their father. By the way, is the question of their paternity actual or just gossip?

Yeah I meant his wife after Elivs' daughter.

After rereading your statement, QueenSuan, I understand what you were saying.

I wish the gossip shows and editors as well as news websie managers would stop and think that there are three young children who are at the center and to just leave them alone. Why should their paternity even be an issue to discuss?

It makes me wonder how famous children, especially in times of grief, can be shileded from the comments about themselves in the news, or what passes as news in this 24-hour news cycle.

Totally - it's like, the family needs to talk about it, fine, because it's family business, but the media should stay out of it. Just give them a break!

I haven't been on this forum for weeks, and now that I finally came back, I just need to post to this thread.

I'm devastated. My life isn't complete anymore. It's been weeks but I can't seem to get over this. It feels like I have this huge knife going through my throat and chest and it wont go away. It's constant pain and it hurts so much. It's controlling my life so much that I can't even enjoy the simple things I used to before. Nothing makes me happy anymore.

I don't even have enough beautiful words to descripe Michael. He's an angel. Even though I don't think I belive in God or anything, but he must be in somewhere better now. Too many people hated him for no reason and didin't see the sweet, talented, beautiful and warm man he was. Sad.

Rest in Paradise Michael Jackson.

That's all I want to say.

I feel your pain. I was not a particularly huge fan of MJ, but I do know how much we invest in the artists we love, and it is hard to lose them. I will say RIP with you.

And welcome back to TDL. I hope you can stay a while.

Things are a bit odd. The doctor is an official suspect now and considering the circumstances it's indeed odd. Why didn't he call the ambulance earlier? Well, the family thinks Michael was already dead before he started cpr. We can only guess. I wonder if the truth will ever come out. I agree with Bob about the children. Even though I highly doubt the oldest two kids are his they have spent their lifes with him. He taught them things and he spent time with them. So to them he was their dad. I hope a good solution will be found for the children

Sometimes judgment is impaired by stress (did I say SOMETIMES?). Yet at the very least I can say this...if the doctor couldn't think clearly and keep it together just because somebody was dying, he should find another profession and let a REAL doctor play hospital.

Two years ago at Thanksgiving my mother and I were enjoying dinner alone. Mum choked on something she ate. She would have been dead before the ambulance got there. I did what I had to do...arms around the waist, left hand balled, right hand cupped. UP AND IN, UP AND IN, UP AND IN. She lives because I kept my head and didn't run around in circles begging God to send an angel that knew CPR.

If you can't think clearly in a crisis, you don't need to be wearing that stethescope.

Exactly! If you're a doctor you know what to do otherwise you can't be a good doctor. Now there are only suspicious thoughts but fact is the Doctor was there when MJ got a heart attack. There are also stories he might have fallen asleep and never noticed MJ getting a heart attack. But again one can only guess what happened inside

Seriously..it wouldn't surprise me one single bit if in,say,a few months from now MJ's death turns out to have been caused by something as common as one of those regular heart attacks that kill people every day,and that nothing could have been done about it. No meds or doctors involved, just an unfortunate occurance in the human body where the heart, affected by stress and possibly an unrelated illness or something similar, decides it's had enough and stops. I'm not saying I know this to be true but that's the first thing that popped into my head when I first heard about this. The guy was 50years old and had evidently gone through some tough things in life. It actually does make sense in a way.
Also,I think everybody should have learnt by now not to believe in everything the media says. They just want to create headlines and sell more magazines etc. I don't know if this whole doctor thing has been officially announced or something but I for one will not believe anything that has not been confirmed in one way or another.

Having said that...R.I.P Michael. I hope you're in a better place now.

I may have not liked his music or even beleived him when he said he "innocently slept with" children. But I am sad that he died. :( Poor guy fell victumn to fame. It like Tori Amos' song "When a Star Falls Down" Hollywood makes you crazy.
