Mod Q&A Thread II

I posted it on the forum a couple of months ago, but I cannot seem to find it. If any member knows where it is, can you please post a link? You will be rewarded with suck-up points that can be redeemed for the mystery prize!

This is actually a very good question.

The Land of Duffers is for threads that do not belong in other areas on the forum. Off-topic discussions are the majority of what is placed here, but games and general sillyness also belong here.

ah..thank you!
hmm...well then be that as it is, i am going to spread my ATLU on to yet another forum! yay!
(ATLU=Addicted Tea Lovers United)

Apparently it's reputation. When somebody posts, you can click on the little scales icon at the top of their post and either add or detract from their reputation. I don't really see what use it is, myself. :-/

It's one of those things that's the default setting on the board, but no one uses it and Paul's been too lazy to change it :p

(if you knew what he does in one day, you would know that laziness is far from the problem.)

HB doesn't have any "free time". He pays for every minute of it (he lives in Canada, remember). Then he's taxed on what he pays, both nationally and provincially.

In fact, in Canada, nothing's free. Not time, not air, not water, not smoking, not eating.

Oh, sorry. One thing is free. Health care.

That's right! Which means all I have to do is not drink for 3 days, then I can go to a hospital and get all the free water, air, and food I want! It's a win-win situation!

And smoking should be taxed. If it was banned, that would be even better. It's a nasty habit that only ruins lives and wastes money.

In all honesty, I don't have a lot of free time (darn those universities!) but in the free time I do have, I watch an assortment of TV shows that I have missed but recorded on tape. (Shows include: Big Brother [UK version], House, Biggest Loser, Canada's Worst Driver, Dragons' Den, and Family Guy, even though some of their jokes should be banned from television.) I also choreograph new dances and look up Narnia news to post here. I also think of new ways to torment/improve the site. (Caption Contest coming soon...but don't tell Paul, he doesn't know yet :p) And, of course, I post on here.

What you want to dead? oh my that's not good not one bit HB.

Not dead, but barely alive so I can reap the rewards of a free healthcare system!

DISCLAIMER: I don't actually want to die. And Canadians are not taxed for breathing. PotW was just commenting on how much higher our tax rate is then in other countries like USA. But yes, food is taxed, so is water, and cigarettes are taxed very heavily to discourage smokers.

Alright. I actually have a questiong. XD
This has probably been asked before, but when I go to my user CP there's the box down towards the bottom with the 'reputation' or whatever. Well what is that for exactly? And what are the blue and green squares that say "this user has unknown quality"? Because I just noticed some people's have turned green, including mine.
Juuuuuuuuuuuuuust wondering.

You're right. It has been asked :p

The question about what the reputation is for has been answered in the past few pages. The reputation box you are describing tells you where members gave you the reputation
