Marissa was trying to relax when the guy in the room next to her turned on his music very loudly.
She knocked on his door.
 
Mime decided to do her science report on the guys side of flirting so she blended in with the surroundings and sat in a corner of his room, taking notes.

"Uh yeah, I was wondering if you could possibly turn it down... Ummm you see, it's really loud and i was trying to center myself." Marissa explained, trying not to sound like an idiot.
 
"Oh, sure thing." He looked over there. He stuck his hand in his pocket, and a hand appeared by his stereo, and turned the volume down. "That's better."

"Woah. Uh.. I take it that's your... talent?" she asked, startled.

"wow. that's really cool. Mine's pretty simple. hypnotism. I don't like it." Marissa shrugged.
"At least yours has depth. there's so many things you could do with it."
 
"Thats facinating! When did you find your power?" Marissa asked, she leaned on the doorframe, thoroughly engulfed in the conversation.
 
"Well, ever since I was real little, I could. I can even make annoying girls appear out of nowhere, like this." He walked over to where Mime was and yanked on her hair. The sharp pain caused her to be visible. "She didn't think I could hear her writing."

Marissa's mouth dropped open.
"Improved hearing is part of it?" she asked, startled at the girl who had suddenly appeared.
 
She smiled. "Thanks for proving my point!" she then leaned against the door and continued taking notes. She obviously didn't react to the pain or yell at him, but took in the sarucasim and what was behind his explainations. She veiwed the girl. "right..." she whispered to herself scratching something down.

ic: Marissa hovered by the door, not REALLY wanting to leave... *HINT HINT*
 
Mime giggled. "Science report...lots of interesting facts you know...." she smiled her green eyes shining and her red braids hanging loosely. "Do continue, just pretend I'm not here." she whispered blending in again, and continuing to take notes on his facial features and hers. "Why don't you invite her in...that's what is polite..." she commented.
