My Second Fan-Fic

You're doing well, Alice. I don't think you EVER really needed to write a fan-fic that was 80 percent repeating the already-imagined events; you just needed to get the confidence to write original scenes, which now you are doing just fine.

Mrs. Macready nodded. "I see." Then, she walked over and examined the girl. After a few minutes she said, "The girl isn't hurt, just exhausted. She's come a long way, but she isn't injured in any way."
"Could she be dehydrated, do you think?" the Professor asked.
"I don't think so, but I'll check her again when she wakes up," Mrs. Macready replied. "I have room for her at my place. I can take her over now."
So, about ten minutes later, Mrs. Macready drove home, taking the girl with her. Peter sat down at the kitchen table with his chin in his hands, thinking.
The Professor glanced at the clock and told Peter that it was high time that he went to bed. So Peter went to bed with his mind full of questions.

Well, since I can't leave you guys hanging forever....

......
The next morning, when Mark rode his bicycle over, Peter was waiting outside for him. Peter didn't normally do this, so Mark figured that something was up. He jumped off of his bike and asked, "What's up, Peter?"
"You will never guess what happened after you went home last night," Peter answered.
"What happened, Peter?" Mark asked.
So Peter told Mark all about the happenings of the night before, and Mark was very surprised.
"Where do you thingk she came from?" Mark asked.
"I don't know; but I think that she's some sort of runnaway," replied Peter.
"Well," said Mark, "that's interesting."
Professor Kirk opened the door and told the boys to come inside so they could begin their studies. That morning, though, nothing got done. Peter and Mark could not keep their minds on their books. The Professor threw his hands in the air and told the boys to walk down to the library and turn some books in.

Yay! Glad you guys are liking it... well, here's more.

.....
The Professor lived about a mile outside of town so the boys loaded their books into their messenger bags, jumped on their bikes and rode down the street.
It was a very nice day, the sky was very blue and big, puffy, white clouds floated in it. A slight breeze ruffled the boys' hair and played about it the grass.
The boys rode into town laughing and talking and joking around. They parked their bicycles outside the library and walked in, being much quieter. They turned their books in and then went to go and find some new ones.
Peter and Mark were busy looking for books when Peter saw the girl out of the corner of his eye. She was sitting in a chair reading a book and completely oblivious to everyone around her. Her long brown hair cascaded down her shoulders in soft curls and played around face. She was clean and her clothes were new and pressed. She still had several cuts and bruises, but other than that, you would never have known her to be the same girl. As she turned the page of her book, she raised her head and her blue eyes met Peter's. She saw the two boys watching her, and she quickly looked away.
