They are usually not allowed to be used inside the theater and while the movie is playing because they don't want anyone to make a pirate copy. But you can take pictures with the cast and of the event before the movie starts and then put it away. And your phone is definitely allowed, no one is going to forcibly take your stuff, bring it anyway.

Did the cast or crew showed up? Because I believe the cast will make an appearance at the premiere in Knoxville. You've got to take pictures with them.

Edit: According to the announcement, Skandar and Georgie will be attending. If I were to go, I'll bring my cameras and phone and take pictures with them. If they don't let me into the movie, then that's ok. I could always watch the movie two days later, but Georgie and Skandar probably never again.

:D :D :D PERFECT!!!!! I am very very very happy with the movie. Even my purist sister loved it even though there were major changes. The spirit of the book was definitely there. I think Mr. Lewis would be proud. I have to say about the sea serpent, my two grown sisters were scared one of them even covered her eyes.

Ok, so how about the cast? Georgie and Skandar. Did you get to meet them?
 
I met them briefly. Just long enough to get autographs. Georgie was really sweet. Skandar went really quickly. I think he was cold lol poor gut. But he seemed nice as well. It was so awesome to see them in person. They were both really short which made me feel good because I'm short as well. I think I'm taller than Georgie but I was wearing heels I didn't see her shoes.

Plaques were made with Georgie and Skandar's names on them and will be left up at the cinema to remember their visit to knoxville. It was a complete surprise to them. Georgie was really excited and honored by it. I think she's one of those people who are just really easy to excite. It was sweet. Skandar was honored as well. They said "Wow! We've never had our names written in stone before!!!" it was wonderful :)
 
Wow! What an exciting opportunity for you!!! :D I wish I could have been there!!! :) It must have been so much fun to meet Skandar and Georgie! They seem so nice and polite. :D
