Illeera also felt the ground shake slightly. She gasped and quickly turned into a white hawk and shot up in the sky, straight up. She hovered for a moment then flew closer to the ground and watched silently.
Suddenly a large branch caught her eye and it was heading straight for Peter. Quickly she shifted into an eagle as she shot towards him. As soon as she was able she picked him up by the shirt with her giant talons .
ic: Peter saw the branch and was about to move when he suddenly felt a tug at his shirt and all he could see now was that the ground beneath him wss getting further and further away. He looked up.
"Thanks"
Illeera laughed, a strange eagle like laugh. "Of course. I wouldn't just let the high king be stabed with a branch!" She soared, carrying Peter, where there was a flat part on the palace roof. There she dropped the king softly and landed herself; casually shifting back to her normal self.
"I don't think you imagined it or else I did, too. Nor did I notice what caused it. But the question is, what or who could have caused it? It seemed to be a bit too powerful for any... normal creature," Illeera explained. Her eyes searched the grown below at the chaos that now followed the dissaster.
Illeera nodded, "You are high king, I won't argue with you, but I suggest asking someone first who has some expertise with earthquakes... if there are any."
"I'm taking it you felt that too" Orieus said galloping towards them. "I would like to say it was an earthquake but this was a man made, or shall I say creature caused action".
"Do you think we should go.."
"And find out" Orieus said finishing his sentence for him. "Indeed before it causes any greater harm".
"Well you could search up above and we will stick to land, nott hat we really have a choice" Orieus suggested.
"That sounds like a good diea but be careful, we don't know if this 'thing' can fly and what it is capable of" Peter said getting on his horse.
