I figured you were asking me what I did for a living to be able to afford all that Narnia stuff. It wasn't that expensive...I got a lot of it on ebay and sales.

*shrug* i bought my narnia puzzles and one of my many books there

they were fine

im not a big fan of walmart though, just dont like the atmosphere

Same here. In my small 'hick' town, all we have is a super wal-mart and an outlet mall that has alomst nothing of interest to me except for a shoe store and a couple of clothes stores. And the worst part of it is after searching and searching I've found out that al the Disney stores within a 50 mile radious of my house have closed! I'd have to go all the way to Charlotte NC to get to one, which won't happen but once in a blue moon... if that. ebay might be evil but I'm beginning to get used to it. Will have to pace myself though and make it an 'every once in a while' treat so I don't go broke myself, LOL.
 
Well the great thing about ebay is it's all there in one place...you can look for any Narnia item, from a fifty cent collectible to a real expensive one. I haven't seen ANY of those limited edition Aslan or Lucy at the Lamppost prints on there though yet. I don't like paying full price for anything. For example, that big White Witch figure I have was like, I think 150 dollars at the Disney store, and I got mine for 50, which is a lot less than the Disney site, off ebay. I figured some of these people buy things wholesale or go to those Disney outlets...right by Disneyland in California, they had a huge warehouse that had all the collectibles and toys which didn't sell well at the park and other Disney stores.

You could get stuff there for 80% off!!

I received some items today...yeah. I feel so weird when I don't get any Narnia stuff in the mail :D
 
Yea, from what I have seen, ebay has a lot better prices on their things. I kind of thought that might be where the sellers on there get their stuff. We're supposed to have a Disney store distrubution center not too far away from me, but I am as of yet to find any contact info on it, so I don't know if they have a company store or would sell to individuals, but I'll keep trying. Man, it would be nice to be able to browse that warehouse! I bet there are tons of things in there! Yea, it's so exciting to get Narnia collectibles in the mail! For me the anticipation is almost as much fun as when it arrives!
 
Well I think my mailman is wondering about the packages and stuff...he always leaves things on the porch and or shoves stuff in the mailbox. The only time I dread going out to the mailbox is when my credit card statement arrives :D these days.

I wonder if this thread should be combined with the other called "A thread for Narnia" that Specter started for Collectors.

I can't wait to see what they'll come out with for PC!
 
Some action figures wouldn't be so bad!!! :D

Oh, and I saw some toy versions of Peter and Edmund's sword and shield and Lucy's cordial. They didn't have Susan's bow and arrow, sadly.
