I think one of the reasons why would be that so very few people here probably own the BBC productions of the books. I only have LWW, but hope to get the others sometime (maybe if I win LMs contest).
 
Well because we're specifically asking questions about the DISNEY LWW movie. I haven't even seen the BBC versions and many people here have not. Why not start a BBC movie trivia thread in the BBC section?

Rupert Everett voiced the Fox and he was also in "Shrek 2" as the voice of Prince Charming and he was in "My Best Friend's Wedding."

(In the extended edition...eluded to by Georgie in the commentary of the regular movie) What does Georgie see in the ice on the way to the beaver's house?

New question. Aslan, being God, can restore _anyone_ to life if He chooses, no matter what; but if we think of Him in the movie as limiting Himself to restoring petrified creatures with His breath, who is the one petrifying victim whom He might not be able to restore without going beyond that self-imposed limit?

If we are talking the film only, then the only creature that I observed whom Aslan, under the conditions set by you, might not be able to restore would be the gryffon that the WW petrified in flight and smashed into an untold amount of pieces.
 
That's what I meant, all right. (By the way, MagicElf, I don't hate the BBC Narnia dramatizations; I think they did very well relative to the starvation budget they had.)

Moving along: I have in mind to write an article for the main page about roles played by Ray "Mr. Beaver" Winstone. What was his role in "King Arthur"?
 
Maybe if someone asks book trivia there might be less confusion, b/c most ppl have read the books... or maybe just some have but never-the-less, it might work better

There is a book trivia over in the Book section of the forum. This trivia is for the movie only which includes background stuff from sources like the movie guide, etc.
 
Yes, this is just for the DISNEY MOVIE TRIVIA questions only. There's a movie companion book and a smaller CAMERAS IN NARNIA book that we get a lot of our questions from as well as the extras on the DVD discs.


What does CHECK THE GATE refer to? ( EASY)
 
It means that you have a camera man open up the camera and check to see if the actual film is good. To the children it usually meant that it was the last take of a particular scene.
