I think, maybe I'm wrong, but I think that this was said by the Jackdaw about the Digory, Polly and the Cabby, when digory decided to approach Aslan to ask His aid in curing Digory's mother. (Uncle Andrew had been with them, but after forbidding Digory to go to Aslan, for purely selfish reasons, had not accompanied them).
