"We get off the train and start walking." Ben said walking over to them.

"It's a two hour walk to the next station." Adie said.

"How do you know?" Ben asked.

"Research. Pays to know your way around." Adie said with a smirk. "I studied all my life about trains and subways and things of that sort."

"Then I wouldn't suppose you'd know a short cut, would you?" Riley asked. "But personally I'm not too excited to get on another train."

"Yes I do as a matter of fact. I use to come in here as a child when they closed. I found a secret way that leads to the other side. Takes about twenty minutes." Adie said.

She pushed on a stone in the wall and something like a door opened. She grabbed a flashlight out of her backpack and flicked it on. "Ready?" she asked everyone.

"I am." Ben said.

Adie took a couple steps into the tunnel. "Be careful. This tunnel is very old." she said.

"Very reassureing." Ben commented. "Look at the markings on these walls."

Riley gingerly stepped in, and looked at the markings. "Yeah....they're very, nice." He looked at Ben, somehow knowing they held some significance to him.

"I've been studying those too," Adie began. "They were written by miners years ago...this used to be a link to an old mine. The tunnel to it collapsed and trapped the miners here. They made this map to help them remember the new tunnel they had made to their gold. Sadly it had collapsed again. Originally this tunnel would've lead to California."

"You have too much time on your hands." Ben commented.

"When you're an orphan you need something to pass time with." Adie said.

Riley looked at Ben. "You're one to talk. Aren't you the same Benjamin Gates who has spent his entire life obsessing, not studying but obsessing, over American history?" He raised his eyebrows. "Besides...isn't this a good sign?"

"True." Ben said.

Adie moved her hand across one of the markings. "This one was never here when I was a child. I don't recognize it." she said. She flashed her flashlight onto it. It was a huge arrow pointing down one of the tunnels.

"Ben, you're more into this stuff then I am. I only know one tunnel." Adie said handing him the flashlight. "You can take the lead." she added stepping beside Riley.

Ben nodded.

Abigail was right behind Ben when she heard some food steps " Is it just me, but I think I hear someone behind us," She told them
