What's your nationality song's title?

Our (Indonesia) nationality song title is "Indonesia Raya"
And this is the Lyric:

Indonesia, tanah airku...
Tanah tumpah darahku...
disanalah aku berdiri jadi pandu ibuku..

it's too long, so I just write the half of it

now tell me yours...

The Dutch National Song is really long... These are the two parts that people usually sing:

Wilhelmus van Nassouwe
ben ik van Duitsen bloed
den vaderland getrouwe
blijf ik tot in den dood.
Een Prinse van Oranje
ben ik, vrij onverveerd,
den Koning van Hispanje
heb ik altijd geëerd.

Mijn schild ende betrouwen
zijt Gij, o God mijn Heer,
op U zo wil ik bouwen,
verlaat mij nimmermeer.
Dat ik doch vroom mag blijven,
uw dienaar t'aller stond,
de tirannie verdrijven
die mij mijn hert doorwondt.

Personally, I only know the first part... ;)

I used to live in Libraria, and the national song there was....

"Hail to Thee, great...."

Problem is, nobody ever got past that spot without one of their fellow librarians shushing them. So I guess I'll never know what the rest was. :D

People that live in the USA should know the song of our Nation. It is called: ' Star spanled banner' if that is correct

Oh say can you see...
by the dawns early light
what so proudly we hail
at the twilights last gleaming
whos bright stars and bight strips
through the parless fighlt
Oh the ramp parts we watch
Were so galently streaming
And the rockets red glar,
the bombs bursting in air.
gave proof through the night
that our flag was still there
Oh say doset that star spangled banner
yet wave
Over the land of the free and the
home of the brave.

Ours is really short.(It's called l-Innu Malti which means Maltese Anthem :p)

Lil din l-art helwa, l-Omm li taghtna isimha,
Hares Mulej, kif dejjem Int harist:
Ftakar li lilha bl-ohla dawl libbist.

Aghti, kbir Alla, id-dehen lil min jahkimha,
Rodd il-hniena lis-sid, sahha 'l-haddiem:
Seddaq il-ghaqda fil-Maltin u s-sliem.

That's cool guys. Other nationality song that I know is England nationality song called God save the Queen
in america we have a song to the toon of God Save the Queen....its formaly called "America" but everyone calls it "My Country 'tis Of Thee"

here are the words:
My Country, 'tis of thee,
Sweet land of liberty,
Of thee I sing.
Land where my fathers died,
Land of the pilgrim's pride,
From every mountainside
Let freedom ring.

My native country, thee,
Land of the noble free,
Thy name I love.
I love thy rocks and rills,
Thy woods and templed hills;
My heart with rapture fills
Like that above.

Let music swell the breeze,
And ring from all the trees
Sweet freedom's song.
Let rocks their silence break,
Let all that breathe partake;
Let mortal tongues awake;
The sound prolong.

Our fathers' God, to Thee,
Author of liberty,
To Thee we sing.
Long may our land be bright
With freedom's holy light;
Protect us by Thy might,
Great God, our King! A-men

No more shall tyrants here
With haughty steps appear
And soldier bands.
No more shall tyrants dread
Above the patriot dead;
No more our blood be shed
By alien hands.

we mostly just sing the 1st verse tho...too long to remember

The brazilian song is too long so,I'll put just one part

"Ouviram do Ipiranga às margens plácidas,
de um povo heróico,brdo,retumbante.
E o sol da liberdade em raios fúlgidos,
brilhou no céu da pátria nesse instante!
Se o penhor,dessa igualdade,
conseguimos conquistar com braço forte![...]"

in Scotland we dont have an official national anthem but we use "Flower of Scotland" alot lol

O Flower of Scotland,
When will we see your like again
That fought and died for
Your wee bit hill and glen.
And stood against him,
Proud Edward's army,
And sent him homeward
Tae think again.

and so on lol (no one ever gets past that bit)

Canada's national anthem is 'O Canada' (I know, how original). It goes:

"O Canada, our home and native land
True patriot love in all our Son's command
With glowing hearts we see thee rise
The true north, strong and free
From far and wide, O Canada
We stand on guard for thee
God, keep our land glorious and free
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee."

Norway´s national anthem is Ja, vi elsker dette landet which will be "Yes, we love this country" in english. It has 8 verses, but we only use to sing the 1 verse and sometimes the 7 and 8, but I can only the 1 which goes like this:

Ja, vi elsker dette landet,
som det stiger frem,
furet, værbitt over vannet,
med de tusen hjem.
Elsker, elsker det og tenker
på vår far og mor
og den saganatt som senker
drømmer på vår jord.
Og den saganatt som senker,
senker drømmer på vår jord.

And by the way here´s a link to all the national anthems in the world:

Here in Finland we have a song called "Maamme". That means "Our land". It really is very beauticful song, you should hear it sometime. But the song is too long and I'm too tired so I won't write it down today. Maybe some other day if you want to read it... :)

Us filipinos is "Lupang Hinirang" which means "Beloved Land" in Filipino

Lyrics:
Bayang Magiliw
Perlas ng Silanganan,
Alab ng puso
Sa dibdib mo'y buhay.

Lupang Hinirang,
Duyan ka ng magiting,
Sa manlulupig,
'Di ka pasisiil.

Sa dagat at bundok,
Sa simoy at sa langit mong bughaw,
May dilag ang tula
At awit sa paglayang minamahal.

Ang kislap ng watawat mo'y
Tagumpay na nagniningning,
Ang bituin at araw niya
Kailan pa ma'y 'di magdidilim.

Lupa ng araw, ng luwalhati't pagsinta,
Buhay ay langit sa piling mo;
Aming ligaya, na 'pag may mang-aapi
Ang mamatay nang dahil sa 'yo.

Here's the translations for those who don't understand:

Beloved Country

Land of the morning,
child of the sun returning,
With fervor burning,
thee do our souls adore.

Land dear and holy,
cradle of noble heroes,
Ne'er shall invaders,
trample thy sacred shore.

Even within thy skies and through thy clouds,
And o'er thy hills and sea.
Do we behold the radiance,
Feel the throb of glorious liberty.

Thy banner, dear to all our hearts,
Its sun and stars alight.
O, never shall its shining field,
Be dimmed by tyrant's might!

Beautiful land of love, O land of light,
In thine embrace 'tis rapture to lie.
But it is glory ever, when thou art wronged,
For us, thy sons, to suffer and die.

Here's the French version of O Canada:

O Canada!
Terre de nos aïeux,
Ton front est ceint de fleurons glorieux!
Car ton bras sait porter l'épée,
Il sait porter la croix!
Ton histoire est une épopée
Des plus brillants exploits.
Et ta valeur, de foi trempée,
Protégera nos foyers et nos droits.
Protégera nos foyers et nos droits.

Often when in prescance of English and French Canadians, it is sung like so:

O Canada!
Our home and native land!
True patriot love in all thy sons command.
Car ton bras sait porter l'épée,
Il sait porter la croix!
Ton histoire est une épopée
Des plus brillants exploits.
God keep our land glorious and free!
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

To hear the tune, you can go to http://www.niehs.nih.gov/kids/lyrics/ocanada.htm and it has the lyrics written and the melody playing.

And a while ago, we used to have God Save the Queen as a national anthem, but that sort of dropped when Canada became a recognized country and not part of Britain. We still sing it on Remembrance day because the soldiars fought under Britain, so here are the lyrics:

God save our gracious Queen
Long live our noble Queen,
God save the Queen:
Send her victorious,
Happy and glorious,
Long to reign over us:
God save the Queen.

(This is the first verse of 3, but we only sing this one)
