New idea? (Fan Convention)

umm, i said personaly, and i am 12! that counts as a younger member!
 
yeah, i'm 14 but this site is for everyone no matter what their age is, a meeting would be cool but with everyone in different places and security would matter also
 
It's a good IDEA but I'm not sure how practical it really is. I suspect the only way it would work is if you ask your parents to accompany you and then each country holds their own thing. It would be difficult to say get everyone to fly over to England or something.

I know it would be nearly impossible, but I only wish!!
 
The insurmountable problem would be that whomever arranged such a meeting would be legally liable for any injuries or ... God forbid ... deaths. :eek:

OMG Chakal! That's a bit morbid!
 
This has been suggested before, but in all reality we really can't do this because of the age factor. We wouldn't be able to allow anyone under the age of 18 to come without parent concent (and that includes me :() and we would have to find a big enough area to hold us all. Plus we need a central location, like NY or California, and not all members can get to those areas because of money/time/permission.

Sorry to trump on your parade, but I doubt this could happen. But I will stay content with waiting til I'm 18, then taking a big roadtrip around USA and England, visiting my NF buds ;) I can dream, can't I?
 
well even if eventually
there would be a fan convention...
when im 18 im gunna go to alot of
different contrys:brazil,nz,englend
so if there would be eny fan conventions
youd definetly se me there
 
Guys it wouldn't work out. We'd have to set up video links so everyone could see what everyone else was doing or something.
 
It would be fun, but just not practical. For all the reasons above named, especially the fact that not all the people on the web have good intentions. I'm sorry but that's life! I would still like to do it, but I can hear my mother now! She cares about me and that is the precise reason that she wouldn't let me go! :) Your Mom's and Dad's probably wouldn't let you go either.
