Not ANOTHER High School!

She stepped out of the jeep, kinda disappointed at how 'unromantic' he was with her, compared to all the other girls.

He took her somewhere. Different. A side of a hill actually, overlooking the whole town. You could even see the last rays of sunlight fading away. He stepped out, and before she could do anything, opened her door for her.

Now that's more like it she thought, "Thank you" she blushed, then was inspired by the scene, "Natures first green is gold, her hardest hue to hold, her early leaf's a flower, but only so an hour, then leaf subsides to leaf, as Edan sank to grief, so dawn goes down to day....." she blushed realizing that she was speaking out loud, she could finish the last line.

He smiled, and looked up at her. By the time she was done, he had it all ready. He patted next to him. "That was very good."

"That's not all... there's another line...." she sighed then realized that he thought she had composed that poem and started snickering lightly, but sat next to him to watch the last rays fall below the earth.

"Oh..." He squinted a little. He smiled, and watched the last rays fall. Then, right before the last ones did, he turned to look at her, hoping she'd look over at him before the rays faded.

"Nothing gold can stay..." she whispered, then noticed he was gazing at her, and she turned to look at him. The sunlight reflected off of his eyes to look like he was producing a heavenly glow.

He smiled, and as the last rays were disappearing, leaned in. If she'd let him... They'd kiss.
