Official Georgie Henley II

No, there's nothing wrong with Lucy's character yelling when it's warranted. There's just a fine line in keeping with the character of Lucy. Her character has a certain innocence and a want to do what is good. It is ok for her to be forceful at times and she is, but they just have to walk a fine line to keep within the spirit of her character. They've done quite well with Lucy thus far. Georgie is doing well with her.

I agree with that completely. :D Besides, she does get frustrated in the books, so it's perfectly fine to have her yell when necessary. I wouldn't even mind her getting fed up with Eustace at least once in VDT--I know in the BBC one she gets angry at him for being so ungrateful to Caspian when he frees them from the slave traders. It's a perfectly valid reason for her to yell or just get frustrated.

I think it would be great if as Georgie gets older, they give Lucy a more "grown-up" look to her in some way to show that Georgie is getting older. Or, just keep her with long hair and maybe curl her ends a bit to make her hair look light and fluffy. :)

No, she isn't old enough to drive. She'll be turning 14 on my, I mean her, birthday. But there isn't a law that says she can't own a car.

As for having a chauffer, Sven-El, she has two. She calls them Mom and Dad :D

As for a birthday gift, look to see what she likes. One fan site suggests that she likes writing, singing and the guitar.

On IMDB, they attributed an interesting quote to Georgie: She was talking about filming VotDT without Anna or Will, " Normally, I'm the most annoying one. So it's going to be a shame for Skandar when Anna or Will aren't around to shut me up."

Destiny, many sites about her say that she has written two books: "The Snow Stag" and "A Pillar of Secrets". I don't know how to find these books, if they are available, or anything about them.

I think they were just little storybooks she wrote for fun while filming LWW. In the official guide to LWW it shows pics of them--they're just two handmade books that Georgie made herself :)

And the guitar...that's a wonderful idea, but how on earth would we get it to her? lol

Npictures on line from the set! Georgie's really growing up! I know it must happen, but as far as I'm concerned she'll always be remembered as the sweet little girl who first dsicovered Narnia.

Now here's a question to consider. Assuming that after the series is done, would any one see any non-Narnia movies with Georgie in them? I would, just becasue I think she's a great actress and I want to see how talented she is and watch that talent grow and see if she can dissapear into other roles. However, I also don't want my image of her as Lucy tainted.

I don't base what movies I watch on what actors or actresses are in them. I look at the plot of the film and make my determination there.

I wonder if Georgie will do some US talk shows to promote the movie next year? She'll be 15 when the movie comes out!

Yeah... Same thing happened with my mindset of the cute Rachel Hurd-Wood from "Peter Pan" was of an innocent little girl... But then she did "An American Haunting"... and then she did that racy photoshoot... My image of her was forever ruined.

And there was Dakota Fanning, who played all sorts of family-friendly roles (except in "Hide and Seek")... but then she filmed that movie where she was raped, and my image of Dakota was ruined.

There was Drew Barrymore, who played the cute sister in E.T., and came from a prestigious line of other actors in her family... and then she did that stunt on Letterman, and a few other sleazy films like Charlie's Angels, etc. My image of her was promptly destroyed...

There was Britney Spears... I don't think I need go further. ;)

And there was Anne Hathaway, with her nice-girl roles like "Ella Enchanted" and "The Princess Diaries," but then going on with roles like "Havoc" and "Brokeback Mountain" (adult content of her), and my image of her was ruined too.

Will Georgie turn out like practically every other young starlet? My fear is she someday she will. :( History has shown us it's inevitable in pretty much every case.

^I have a feeling Georgie won't end up like that...they don't seem to make as much of a fuss over her as they have over the other actresses you mentioned, so there's one thing going for her. Another good point is that she doesn't end up in all that random gossip that is constantly surrounding the actors from things like *cough*Twilight*cough*, nor does she seem to want to be involved in it. She keeps a generally low profile when she's not involved in films, which is good, and I think if she keeps at that, she'll be okay. Some really over-hyped celebrities have actually been able to do that, or have made an effort to, like Tom Felton from the Harry Potter films, so I don't see why Georgie can't do the same thing.

Also, as a counter-example to the people you mentioned--Raven Symone started out as that cute little granddaughter on The Cosby Show, then went on to do all that Disney stuff--but she didn't allow her image to be tainted by all the candy fluff littering that poor channel nor did she dip into anything more racy (like Ashley Tisdale and Vanessa Hudgens :-/). She did the smart thing and decided to go the more sensible, professional route and ended up becoming one of the executive producers for That's So Raven. So, in that case, she actually did quite well without ruining herself. Shirley Temple (Black), who could've ended up in much worse situations than she did, actually made good use of her life after all the cutesy roles. And child actress Mara Wilson (Matilda, Mrs. Doubtfire), who left the business after age 13, is supposedly thinking of returning--but in order to direct/produce instead of being thrown around Hollywood like the rest of the former child stars.

I have a feeling that Georgie will end up as one of those^girls. She seems much more sensible than the goons in Hollywood anyway :)

I wonder if that was before or after the Lone Islands. In the book, Georgie wore Caspian's clothes until she got to the Lone Islands. Those clothes seem to fit her well so they can't be Caspian's.

On second thought, she seems to be wearing shoes, so maybe it is after the Lone Islands. She's still pretty, although she would be even better looking had she been smiling. Everyone looks better smiling. :)

I requested that image as a signature. She looks so beautiful but I do agree that her face has gotten a little chubby, but maybe it's just the camera angle or something. Her face has always been a little chubby, but it's more-so in this image. Anyway, I don't mind. She still looks beautiful. I also commented the same thing that someone else did. If those are supposed to be Caspian's clothes, they wouldn't fit him because they fit tightly on Georgie. :D

Alright, children, I could pummel you. Again, the official threads are for news, pictures, updates on the star. The fan threads are for discussing whether you agree with the long hair, telling her happy birthday or writing a FAN letter. Which means that since none of the cast have anything but Narnia movies going on (and I know because as film and television editor for Portrait Magazine, I have the membership to ImdbPro) there shouldn't be many updates for a while. No more spam!

...Umm, kinda late for that? ;)

Talking about her dating life, useless posts stating that you really liked her as Lucy, and other fan comments are all inappropriate and will be considered spam. All spam will be deleted and dealt with as stated in the rules.
Well... you got a lot of deleting to do... including deleting a few posts by ITW and maybe a couple from EveningStar. ;)
