Georgie Henley is brilliant and I think she does a wonderful job as Lucy Pevensie. She keeps shining brightly as Lucy as the Narnia movies go on. I can't wait for VDT in December.
 
It is amazing that she is growing up before our eyes as the character of Lucy grows throughout the series also. I think Georgie is absouletly spot-on perfect as Lucy, and she brings her to life out of the pages of the books.

I'm amazed that she's already 15 too. It seems like she was just only 8 or 9 years old, on LWW. Such a tiny little adorable girl, lol. Where do the years go? :rolleyes:
 
Yes they do fly by, and yes she was such a cute girl in LWW, then she became a remarkable blossoming flower in PC and now she is in her teens and she keeps embodying the spirit of Lucy each time in the Narnia movies.
 
I agree. But, my take on it is eventually the actors will want to get out of child-like roles and move into grown up roles as they grow up. I mean, Georgie can't always be Lucy from Narnia. We still remember her as Lucy from LWW but as you can see she's growing up. I'm just hoping she doesn't move into bad girl roles in movies.
 
Yes she will always be Lucy to me also. I would want her to choose more respectable and not trashy roles. She still has more time to be Lucy, so I am going to be happy that seeing Narnia or Lucy on the big screen from the pages of the books isn't over yet.
 
Growing up and getting "older" roles doesn't necessarily mean choosing "trashy" roles. You can get older roles without resorting to something raunchy. Unfortunately, a lot of young actors don't seem to catch the difference...

Oh, man, Miley. :( A perfect example of what most child stars do but SHOULDN'T end up like =/ It's a shame, she has great potential and she's wasting it.

I have a feeling Georgie is much smarter than that, though. I don't think the industry is going to get to her. You can tell that she's her own person and is comfortable with that, and isn't going to let anybody change her for the sake of publicity.

Yes I totally agree Miley Cyrus while being talented and having good music is really dressing how anyone shouldn't dress let alone a 17 year old. I think Georgie wouldn't do that, because she seems more pure and respectful of herself to do something like that.
