Official James McAvoy

i have a question. Is James supposed to appear in an upcoming movie (something about Scotland)? I thought i saw him in clips of a movie trailer that was being showed on "Entertainment Tonight". :confused:

One of the members here informed me that James does not reply to fan mail because he thinks it's too 'big headed.' Has anyone here gotten any reply or autograph from him? I don't understand why he would say something like that when his fans are the ones who admire him in the first place!!
 
Well I just thought of something...if he said in an interview that he doesn't sign autographs then the one on ebay is probably a fake!!
 
From what I have read, James does not like to answer fan mail not because it is beneath him to do so, but he doesn't want to get a large ego over it. He said he is a humble man and has no desire to be this big star. However, he does sign autographs for fans if it is for a special occassion. At least that's what I read.

Yes, he said he doesn't want to appear 'big headed' ( Meaning egotistiscal) but I feel differently about that...a person can control his ego. I just think it's strange to write to a movie star and then realize that they won't answer because they're worried they might get an ego over it.
 
I agree with you, LM. He may be worried about his privacy as well. So many actors cannot go anywhere without people hounding them, the tabloid press continuously following you, etc. Some of these stars can't go to dinner, go for a drive, swim in the ocean or a lake, go shopping without people all over them especially the photographers, tabloid reporters, etc. I don't know. I can see both sides of the story. However, I think that sending autographed photos by mail wouldn't present him any problems. Next to Lucy and Aslan, he is my favorite character in the film.

I like the scene when he turns back to normal from the statue form, cause the smile he gives Lucy shows that he has the heart that could care for anything, I'm sure he could care for anything without a smile but just seeing that scene makes me happy, also it makes the effect for the scene at the castle when hes standing there with Lucy when Aslan leaves, its like you know from there on him and Lucywill be the bestest of friends. James is the best actor ever, love his movies. :D
 
YES!!!! He's got a great accent!!! I was watching an interview w/ Georgie and James and it was really funny!!! He also owns a motercycle, but I'm sure that was already well know James trivia.
 
I thought the Last King of Scotland was already out since Forrest Whittaker won the Best Actor award at the Acadamy Awards for his role in the film.
