Yeah. Yesterday was his Joe's Bday. I was watching a utube vid of Joe's 18th birthday and Kev was carrying his cake onstage and then Kev dropped it. It was really bad eps cuz their parents were on stage too.

All the song that you like Narnia fan are on their last record, "Jonas Brothers." I actually like the this recordd more than the newest one. In the last on they had more of theri own sound, but in A Little Bit Longer their music sounds lees like them and more like disney... anyway that my opinion.
 
I've only heard "Burnin' Up" from their newer one (it IS on their new one, right?). Burnin' Up is actually the one that I fell in love with and then I listened to the other 3 that my best friend brought over on a cd of random songs from different people she has. I copied the cd to my flashdrive so I could listen to those 3 Jonas Brothers songs when I use the computer. I usually don't listen to S.O.S as much cause my best friend had a live version and you can barely hear the actual singing. All you can hear is screaming fangirls. :rolleyes:
 
OMG I just realized both bands that I obsess over are from New Jersey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :eek:

Most of the members of My Chemical Romance are from New Jersey and the Jonas Brothers are from New Jersey too!!!!!! :eek:

I am SO moving to New Jersey when I'm an adult... LOL jk jk
 
If JB is from Jersey, the NJ is wonderful!!!!!

I was just wathing a chatroom discussionwhich was really bad. Someone said, "It would be so cool if all three were run over by a train. Who wants to watch?" I know there are people who don't like JB but gosh ya don't have to get violent...
 
I know!!! Jonas Brothers haters are so cruel to them!!!! I cringe remembering I used to be one of those cruel haters. I was pretty harsh too. I can't imagine how many Jonas Brothers fans I hurt with my comments, usually said loudly while flipping through a Jonas Brothers infested teen magazine in the middle of a store.
Now I know I was wrong about them and I regret every negative word I said about them. Now I ADORE the Jonas Brothers and really regret all that Sharpie permanent marker fun I had with Jonas Brothers magazine posters...They were turned into hobos with pimples and scruffy beards and everything. I was terrible.

But now I loooooovvveeeeeee the Jonas Brothers!

YAY another convert!!!!! I think there is this perception that if you don't like the Jonas Brothers then you are cool. Of course us fangirls know better and we are always trying to get more JB supports. They are the bestest ever!
 
I'm trying to get my sister Kat (DarthKat) to listen to some of their songs and see how great they are but she refuses. She's never even heard any of their songs and she can't stand them.

Lol the other day Kat, my mom and I were driving in our new white van (which is HUGE) and we had just cashed mom's check and we were heading to the gas station to get something to drink. The radio was on, but pretty quiet, but then I heard the telltale start of "Burnin' Up" and screamed like I never have before, especially not in the car, and lunged forward, pointing at the radio. Mom jumped, accidentally pressing the button that makes the passenger side's window go up. Kat freaked out cause she had her foot out the window and it was almost shut there so she pulled her foot away quickly, smacking her knee on the glovebox in the process. "It's the Jonas Brothers!!!! Turn it up, it's the Jonas Broothers!!!" I shouted hysterically like a crazy fangirl.
Kat was like, "GEEZ! Okay, okay, I'm turning it up!" I giggled hysterically for awhile because I'd screamed and scared them out of their skin AND there was
a cop car behind us, all that because the Jonas Brothers were on the radio.

Later mom was like, "I've NEVER heard you scream like that before! I thought something had smacked your window or we ran over an animal or something!"

Kat kinda rolled her eyes and and was like, "You screamed like a bloody FANGIRL."

LOL I've GOT to be a true Jonas Brothers Fan if I pull something like that. I wasn't even THINKING. It clicked that it was the Jonas Brothers starting and I screamed automatically. Not even a month ago, I would've groaned in horror.

lol, dont worry, i dont have any of their cds yet either..but i dont think i plan on gettin any. im not much of a cd person. ill prolly just upload the songs to my mp3.

hey thats really nice, i bet they'll totally appreciate it even if you make a fool of yourself =]

I really want to get a JB CD or two, but my mom would think I was nuts. :p But I don't have iTunes, so... =[
 
then... how bout limewire? you could download the free version. some people say is does bad things to their comps..but its perfectly unharmful to mines. i dont use itunes. i use limewire

Sorry I haven't been on here guys, I was away with my family. Joe turned 19 on the 15th! I hope he had a fabulous time. I got my copy of Rolling Stone with the Jonas Brothers interview in it yesterday. It's really a nice, heartwarming article, and I'm glad the author didn't make them out to be teenyboppers.

1) I love that pic of Joe in your sig! It reminds me of Michael Jackson xD Whether that's good or not is up to you.

2) It was really nice of you to wish Joe :) I knew it was his birthday, but I was on holiday so I couldn't send a card or anything. I thought about him all day though xD

3) I think of writing a letter to them all the time, but I'm scared that I'll pour my heart out to them and they'll just end up not reading it because they get millions of letters a day. (WARNING: I'm going to get extremel mushy here.) I just want them to know that I exist, that I am alive and kicking, and it's partly for them. They are one of the most beautiful things in my world. I want them to know that I'm not just a random teenage fangirl, I actually love and respect them as people and as idols- I don't just want to marry them and have their babies or whatever. I am perfectly happy if they go out with other people, and I'm actually pleased for them. I just want them to know that.

Okay, I feel a lot better now that I've finally let that out xD Even if they'll never see it.

As for my banner lol its pretty much my fave pic of Joe because of the fedora. *drools* I looooovvveeee fedoras, though I do not own one myself (yet!).

As for your number 3, you couldn't have said it any better than that. That is exactly how I feel about my two-now three-groups of idols, the third and newest being the Jonas Brothers, the other two groups being My Chemical Romance and Elton John and Bernie Taupin.

Most of the time with MCR and JB, because I do have a crush on a member or members of those two groups, people misread it thinking I merely listen to their music because I think they're hot. And it's completely the opposite. I always like the music before I find anyone in a band really attractive. That's just how it goes for me.

Both MCR and JB I despised until I opened my eyes (or rather EARS :p) and noticed how good their music was. With the JB thing I even helped my brother make fun of them, saying how their eyebrows looked like caterpillars that would one day make cocoons and fly away as butterflies or crawl away. I made them into hobos with my permanent markers and screamed in anguish whenever I saw them. With MCR, I used to just judge, judge, judge them. Both bands I thought were excruciatingly ugly before I heard their music.

I was meaner to JB than I was to MCR. And then that magical day came and I was drawing on Jonas Brothers posters and listening to the radio. "Burnin' Up" came on and I was rocking out, dancing around and I was like, "Dude, this song is awesome! I wonder who sings it!" And as it ended the DJ was like, "And that was the Jonas Brothers with "Burnin' Up..." I flipped out.

You shoulda seen me. I leapt up and shouted, "WHAT IS THIS MADNESS!!!! I'M MORPHING!!!!! NOOOOOO!!!!!!!" Lol it was hilarious now that I think back on it.

My conversion to Jonasism was slow coming. It took me a while to actually start listening to them, but now I listen to them every night. I love Nick. Not in that fan girlish "OMG MARRyME!!1!!!!!11!!!eleventy!!11!!1" way, but I truly admire him.

Anybody else here know he has diabetes? Yeah, just found out today. I couldn't do my homework after I found out because I was too distracted trying to learn more.:rolleyes: I love Nick's song "A little bit longer", I cry almost everytime I hear it; it's so beautiful.

I think its amazing how well he puts up with it, I probably couldn't I have to constantly eat junk food. He has an amazing voice, they all do.

There will always be haters. We just have to ignore them.

Same here; at first I'd just see them on Disney Channel and think, 'Oh, they sound quite cool!'. But then I slowly got into their music and now I can't go to sleep without listening to some Jonas every night :rolleyes:

And I agree about Nick. I genuinely admire and respect him too, and while I do have a slight crush on him (because admit it guys, putting it crudely, he is HOT), it's more of a hero/idol kind of thing.

'A Little Bit Longer' doesn't move me to tears, but that's because I'm a tough nut and never cry at songs or movies :D It's not the best track on the album, musically or lyrically. I think the thing people find most appealing about it is the genuine emotion Nick puts into it.
