Official Tilda Swinton

Has anyone here seen any other films Tilda has been in? Like "The Beach" or "Broken Flowers" for example...
I've seen "The Beach" and it's definitely one of my favorite movies now (besides Narnia of course!)

I hate to admit it but no I haven't seen any of her other films unfortunately. Guess I will have to rent a couple of them when I get some extra money.

I have seen Thumbsucker,The Beach (twice) and Adaptation. She did very well in all those movies, playing totally different characters.I must say that Thumbsucker and Adaptation were really weird, though. The only thing I liked with them was Tilda.Every appearence of hers made me jump slightly in the chair,but......no the movies themselves weren't very good.
I really like The Beach, though. For 3 reasons. 1: It's filmed in Thailand,a country I have visited and totally love. 2: Tilda's acting is just as amazing as usual. 3. Leonardo DiCaprio looks really good in this movie ( I don't usually like him THAT much ).So,I've seen The Beach twice and I'd really like to watch it again. It has some "grown-up-stuff" in it,and bloody stuff also, but I wasn't really bothered about it (Ok,some parts of the shark thingy WERE gross...I won't go into details there..NO SPOILERS! *LOL*).The only thing I'd like to change is what is told about Tilda's character Sal.Being a huge Tildanite,I would have liked to know a little more about the character she's playing. You hardly get to know ANYTHING.But..maybe it's just my "LOST" obsession...;)

If you want to more about Sal, read the book- "The Beach" by Alex Garland. It's the BEST book ever (besides the Narnia series) and I've already read it twice. It's like soooo different than any other book I've read.

But anyway, I have to agree- Leonardo DiCaprio looked VERY good in this movie. I mean, just look at him!

Haha, sorry- I had to post a picture.
But anyway, I'm getting off topic. Tilda did an amazing job in the movie- for some reason, it's like she's always playing the evil or cruel character.

Oh what a wonderful Leo pic :D I don't usually use the word HOT when I describe someone,but...he was hot in The Beach!

I've actually heard the book is much better than the movie.I might read it if I can find it somewhere.
Indeed,Tilda seems to like playing baddies :) But the good thing with Tilda is her ability to play many different kind of characters.Seriously,I can't think of a character she WOULDN'T be able to play.I know I've only seen her in 4 movies and a trailer, but still.

Well, Tilda got the recognition she deserves at last, pulling home an Academy Award as best supporting actress for her work in Michael Clayton. Hopefully her portrayal of Jadis helped propel her to these more prominent roles which got her this recognition. All the best to her - keep up the good work, Tilda!

She got horrible reviews on her wardrobe though...yikes! She's a good actress, but a bit eccentric I think. She certainly gave an interesting speech.
