You certainly don't want to tell many people in the British Isle that faeries don't exist, especially those in Ireland. Recently in Ireland they were going to expand one of the airports, but things started going wrong from the beginning. The construction crews refused to build a runway over what were considered to be a group of 'faerie mounds or hill'. Many Irish folk who have homes built where there is a faerie mound or hill in or near their back yard area will build their homes so that the front door and the back door line up perfectly to each other and they will leave both doors open to allow faeries direct access through.
