Night shift always leaves the kitchen in such a mess. I have to do a job of clean-up before I can even get the kettle on. Who left all these banana peels in the sink?! i suppose Rosy was doing the banana health shakes again. Not that healthy with chocolate syrup in them ... All right, this place is almost presentable. What will it be, Tumnusfreak? Coffee, tea, orang juice? I'm not making anything with a blender until afternoon.
 
Yeah, sorry about that... I was just too tired to tidy up..I even had to eat a re-heated airport sandwich because there was no other food..oh the shame..

No problems. An airport sandwich?! That's very sad. I just brought some nice mahi mahi home from the fish market. Mango salsa, and we're set.

Er...eat up. We added lots of peppers b/c I love hot stuff, so be careful.

Hi there. I signed up months ago, but as a full time student with many other things going on, I just haven't gotten around to this message board. But I just had a birthday and someone by the name of "catalina afanador" sent me a little short and sweet email wishing me a happy birthday, and just that she is also a Narnia fan. I thought that was really sweet, and I wanted to drop in because of it. If you know who you are, Catalina, here I am. I was hoping to find you here. Talk about reaching out! Well, I saw the movie the day it came out (with my Star Wars fan club), and then the next day with a church group I'm associated with (did I mind paying to see it twice??? I think not. Especially with "Peter"). Is something wrong with me because at age 33 I took considerable notice of a boy that young and wished I was about 20 years younger? Forgive me if there is. Well, better get! I have a midterm coming up Tuesday, and Heaven only knows how prepared (?) I am for it.

Ooh, I had some cookie dough last week when I was home in my own kitchen baking. Yummie! But probably bad for you, with the raw egg and all.

Lavenderrose, welcome back! You can click on the member list, find Catalina and send her a PM if you want, in case she doesn't look in here ... although why wouldn't she look in here with all the delightful food and company.

Here in the Netherlands Antilles (Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao) they serve "pastechis." It's like a baked (or fried) turnover: dough shell around vegetables, cheese or meat. Let me load some up in Mr. Tumnus' oven. You're going to love them. I'll put sardines in some.
