Painful Dawn Treader Bashing

Yes....it is very painful to read articles that were written by people who know nothing about CoN at all. I hope no one pays attention to one person's flawed opinion of Narnia.
Then again, a lot of people here on NarniaFans are bashing VDT in much the same way. Naming no names...but I guess there is always going to be people like that, everywhere you look.
Ah, well. We true Narnia fans will stick through it and enjoy the movie as much as possible. I just hope the VDT-bashing people won't go see the movie with a "this is going to be terrible" mind-set.

they are so wrong about Narnia. Kill Harry Potter if you ant but NARNIA!!I don't know ANYONE but them who found reasons to kill Narnia!:mad::mad::mad:

And another thing. Notice that I so far have disagreed on the fact that Caspian is shown at in the sea of lilies with the Pevensies. There may be other changes but I don't mind those so far. And I did say that they got it right the scene where Lucy reads from the book of spells, including seeing Susan at that point. So if anyone is paying attention, that Caspian scene is my only beef with the movie makers so far.

Oh, and the fact that I really think there won't be Caspian/RD romance, but I may be wrong on that one cause it's only a theory so far.

I know that the movie will be great, but something i just really get made at the people that want to make the movie better then the book. I bet BK agrees with me.....

That guy in the article is going over the edge.

Yes,the Narnia movies have flaws (like every other movie! But I agree Prince Caspian was pretty bad). Still that's no reason to make them seem like some giant brain-washing load of preachy crap. Lots of non-Christians (like me) watch or read Narnia. I once saw a very devout Muslim family that I know from Warsaw watching LWW.
So instead of WHINING about the trailer, why doesn't the man wait for the movie to come out, watch it, and construct some more profound opinion, instead of this torrent of thoughtless words spewing from his mouth?
Talk about a phillistines.

As far as I'm concerned, the only hideous mistake they made in VODT was in not hiring ME. Just LOOK at this face and tell me how I didn't make it in!

I am so sick and tired of people like him, who obviously have not read the book
ever, or in a very long time, talking about how much it sucks! I for one think VoTD has a great potential. and I loved the other movies...they were great!
And all of that just from a 2 minute trailer is annoying, that bit about the picture, maybe he forgot that thats how they get to Narnia, he calls it disappointing, but how is it different then the Wardrobe??
Personally, I am really excited about the Lion, Ghost Witch, and the Lightsaber!

Sorry about my rant, i had to get it out...:p

Peace, everyone, he's only an idiot. The only thing people like him do is make people more defensive, and more likely to see the movie. So let's thank this guy!

The lightsaber!!! hahahahahaha funny Trisscar! That's how they make the movie better than the books? No thanks!!

Wow! The first thing I thought was "Oh great more assumptions off of just the trailer" then I started getting mad towards the end when he wouldn't stop talking about the sticking dragon! I mean it is a big part of the story and is really cool but if you are really a true and loyal Narnia fan you would have already read the book or plan to read it before you see the movie and know that the dragon has to be in it. It was just really annoying.
And bashing the dufflepuds! Thats going to far!

Ok, DWD, here goes.

"Thank you, stupid guy, for making people want to see the movie!" :p

LOL that review made me laugh so hard :D sorry to read that the reviewer wasn't very Narnian like we are though....

Ok... the glowing sword thing....I could see his point.... it *does* look like a lightsaber...it reminded me of Sting...but not far off either....

Really...swords did not glow in the books
