Not surprised

I was not surprised it didn't show with Enchanted. I think we can expect it to be NT2, though it might possibly come out with Golden Compass.

It is airs before the Golden Compass that will be an insult, since I've heard the writer of Golden Compass hates C.S. Lewis and his work.

Pullman? Yeah, he just came out calling Lewis a racist... I doubt he'd want a PC trailer before his movie. If he does, though... (we REALLY need a 'yuck' smiley on here...)

Well I'm going to GC so by this time in two weeks, I will know if it was a trailer then or not. My next chance to see the trailer in the theatres after GC will be "Spiderwick Chronicles" in February.

Is pullman atheist? I heard something about it. I really don't care for his books. I am sorry but I don't want an animal thingy with me. Especially not a demon!(however pullman tries to spell it, a demon is a demon)

Pullman's aim is to get people hooked on his first book/film and then when they engrossed he reveals in his second book that God is the enemy and I have heard the kid or kids kill God in the third book. So it is obvbious Pullman's Trilogy is imbedded with Atheisiam and I for one will not support him or his work. I instead will stick with the alternative and far better series known only as The Chronicles of Narnia.

I'll stick with Narnia too. For one thing it's probably alot better than Pullman and second it's not diverting people against God, if that's what Pullman's trying to do...
I can't wait for the trailer!:D

Just reading on IMDB.com:

In the PC message boards, one person who went to see "Enchanted" actually saw the trailer for PC. This person went to the El Capitan theatre in Hollywood (the theatre is owned by Disney) and reported on the trailer.

A few things mentioned:

The soundtrack reminded this person (alias bpip23) of the Battle scene music from LWW.

They show great scenery, preparations for battle, and great CG effects.

Peter yells out "For Narnia" at the end.

Unknown if Reep was in it. bpip was too excited and everything went by as in a daze.

Aslan is in it.

I just saw Enchanted for the second time today and of course there was no PC trailer. Like Mary said, it will most likely be in Spiderwick Chronicles.

Did anyone else say they saw it on there? I do believe rumors are easily started on IMDB.

No one else has mentioned being there that I have seen. There may have been someone else who posted about seeing it, but he deleted his message for some unknown reason.

Reading the descriptions, and how this person sounded, it seems as if he/she may have actually seen the trailer. It was written like someone who was extremely excited, so much so that they were trying to write everything down at once.

It would not be unusual to see a trailer for a movie this early, especially before a movie distributed by the same company at their theatre.

I know a guy who went to see Enchanted at El Capitan. I will ask him if he saw the trailer. I will post answer here sometime later in the week.

Spiderwick is being distributed by Nickelodeon, a major competitor for Disney. Also it is not as marketed as Golden Compass, which has had trailers in theaters since Harry Potter came out this summer. I would bet that Golden Compass gets the trailer spot rather than Spiderwick, especially since it is releasing at the same of year as LWW.

Unfortunately, It is only showing in the previews for Enchanted if you go to the El Capitan Theater in Hollywood. Here is a rundown of it according to someone on the IMDB forum

Ohhh... the trailer was really good. At first I didn't believe it, because I was like... "Isn't it early for a trailer?" But then - IT REALLY WAS IT. I suppose the best place to show it would be the El Capitan (the Disney theater in Hollywood). The beginning was great, the foursome were at a train station and there was something about having to return to Narnia again in the narration, the wind starts blowing and then... they're there! They find some relics of a castle and one of them asks "who lived here?" and Susan says "I think we did." the rest was SO COOL. Prince Caspian seemed to have some kind of weird accent going on... not too sure about that. A lot went by quickly, but if anyone wants to know something please ask. It's been a while since I read the book, so I might not be good at specifics.

Ok. Well, the trailer begins with Lucy and the Susan walking to a train station, and they time-travel to the beach, which is probably Narnia. Then, they find these ruins and it says for 1300 years, the kingdom was ruled with all these people, and they show Prince Caspian. And then, there's all these action scenes, and they look amazing. Like Susan is flying with these eagles for arrow shooting and there's this really cool part with the water vibrating and stuff. Plus, there's this creature with flower leafs.

Yes, I did join the IMDB forum just to be able to read these.

Wow, Mr. Bob beat me to it.
