(MK, "elastic on left" is just a joke at our stable. english girths have elastic on one side, and people are always asking the instructors "what side do i put the elastic on?" and opne of the instructor got a tattoo, she was joking that she should have gotten "ELASTIC ON LEFT!!!" tattooed across her forehead so people wouldn't ask her. it's dumb really but was funny at the time)
