yup have the saoundtrack too! i live it lol
and of course the movie!
yeah i sinbg "think of me" in voice lessons all the time!!!!!

I just watched the movie. I'm in love with all the singing, now I want to go out and sing all the songs that Christine sings in it. It was cool to see a musical that was actually filmed recently. Some of it was rather confusing to me since I'd never seen any other version of it that I remember. To be honest, I wasn't all that entranced with it for a while, but the ending got me. It was sweet, and much happier than I thought it would be. Of course, the poor phantom has to live by himself, but he did deserve it for all the people he just kind of callously did away with. It was good of him to let them both go. Anyway, I did like the movie finally, and now I want to go be in the play! Let's organize a performance of the play using only phantom "phanatics" off the dancing lawn! There's what, like three of us? (Are we all girls? We can take turns being Christine and try to coerce our respective male relatives and friends to be the rest of the characters! Oh yeah, this is sounding good!) All joking aside, it's nice to talk to some other people who liked the movie. Out of curiousity, has anyone actually seen the play? I'd imagine that it would be hard to put on as a play. (Awww, there goes my plan to put it on with dancing lawn people, unless one of you is really rich. Joking! ;) )

P.S. Wouldn't it have been totally awesome if Ewan McGregor was playing Raoul? At least I'd like to see it in an alternate version. He sings very well, and he can act too. (Of course I am a Star Wars freak, and he was good in Emma as well.

I love phantom of the opera! i cannot stop singing phantom of the opera and driving my brother crazy.

Wow! That sounds exactly like me! I just watched it, and when I Instant Message my brother I just start typingthe songs. It drives him nuts too!

P.S. Right now my instant messenger name is: "Masquerade! Paper faces on parade... Masquerade! Hide your face so the world will never find you! (Kind of poor Phantom)" My "kind of poor" brother!

P.P.S. The lyric "The Phantom of the Opera is here, inside my mind" is becoming quite literally true.

Sorry from us sisters. When I first watch a musical or new movie that I like, I'm really obsessed with it for a while, and then the obsession lessens over time. So she might eventually stop singing it constantly... Or course with Nicholas Nickleby, and Smike, it was an entirely different matter. I'll never get over my Smike liking, as you can see by my banner.

me and my bff saw the phantom of the opera 4 her bday wen it came out and wen we got home we couldn't stop singing opera her parents went nuts we wouldn't shut up.

Wow, Will's girl, I love the banners! They are gorgeous, both of them! Sam looks so sad, poor, poor guy, his best friend backstabs him. Sniff, sniff. Oh well, everything turns out ok in the end. The POTP banner is awesome too. Out of curiosity, did you make it after my post:

P.P.S. The lyric "The Phantom of the Opera is here, inside my mind" is becoming quite literally true.

I don't mind if the idea partly came from my post, I'm just curious. It would be funny if we both had the same idea about the same time as well. :D Come to think of it, you might not have seen my post at all, since you haven't been on this thread before, so we must have just had to same kind of idea at the same time. Wierd...., yet kind of cool.
I ordered the soundtrack for POTP from the library since I'm not dripping with money at this time, and can't buy it. It's still coming, even though I'm first in line to get it, it's not here. Grrr, too slow. Of course, I found all the lyrics to the songs online, so I can just sing them to myself, but it's not the same.... I found out that a CD that I got from a friend has All I ask of you on it, and I only listened to it the day after I watched POTP. It's a wierd coincidence. Anyway, anybody else want to name thier favorite song off the movie? It's always fun to hear that. I should get Fishwwjdfrog to post here, she like POTP too.
P.S. Hey, does anyone here like Nicholas Nickleby? I started a thread for lovers of that movie, and a certain character in it that appears in my signature. If you post on the thread and ask to be added, I'll add you to the I love Smike fan club. Just a side note there about another high quality movie.
